Story
Hello, my name is Rusty. I’m a breeder release, and I came into rescue with my very best friend Fancy, another lovely mini poodle. We were a breeding pair. She has been adopted, and it makes me sad and I really need an outgoing dog in my new home. Life is still pretty new and a little overwhelming for me, but with time and kindness, I’m learning what it means to feel safe and loved. I’m very shy around people because I didn’t get much socialization early in life. But don’t worry—once I warm up, I become shyly playful, especially with my foster mom. I’m still figuring out this whole “being loved” thing, and patient humans make all the difference. Where I truly shine is with other small playful dogs. They make me happy and give me joy. If you have a friendly, social dog at home, I bloom into a bouncy, happy boy. Without another dog, I become lonely, sad and unsure—so I must have a canine companion in my forever home. My potty training is still a work in progress, but I’m trying my best every day. I am not currently leash trained but working on it. Best in a fenced yard. Kids may be too much for me as fast movements scare me. If you’re patient, gentle, and have a sweet dog who wouldn’t mind a soft-hearted sidekick, I might just choose you as my special person. 📨 Apply to adopt at: www.campcompanion.org 💲 Adoption fee: $350 plus tax

Story
Chloe is a 10 year old poodle/mini schnauzer mix. She is about 15 pounds and was surrendered due to owner's work schedule. Chloe gets attached to her owner right away and will always be by your side. She loves to sleep with you but is also kennel trained. She has some separation anxiety so she prefers her owner to be home more than gone. She is more an anxious dog so a nice calm home would be perfect for her. She prefers a home without kids since kids are so energetic. Chloe did have a bladder stone removed, and she needs to stay on a prescription food (royal Canine SO) to prevent bladder stones in the future. She is good with other dogs and really enjoys lap time with her owner. She may bark at other dogs and people when on a walk. If you have shared walls, she may bark.
