Story
Milo is the sweetest dog, who loves to cuddle on the couch and in bed as much as possible. He loves walks, and playing with his squeaky toys and chewing on bones. He is about 9 years old. He loves everyone but especially women. Milo was rescued from an abusive home where he was left in a crate all the time. And so he suffers from separation anxiety. He is a very good boy and his symptoms are easily managed by medication. ( $20 a month) He also must be crated when you leave the house as he gets anxious. This is why I will only let him go to a home where the owners are home a lot such as a work from home or retired owner situation. Milo would love to possibly be a travel companion. (He travels well) Milo has a sensitive stomach so he just needs regular dog food and dog treats. No people food. Milo is the sweetest dog but we are unable to give him the attention that he craves. He wants to be by your side all the time and gives so much love and adoration.

Story
Meet Jolene! Sweet Jolene is a 6 year old, 12lb miniature poodle. She was rescued from an Amish mill where she was used for breeding her entire life. Jolene is great around other dogs and loves to be around people. She enjoys playing with her toys, snuggling up with her foster family, and exploring her new surroundings as she adjusts to life as a beloved pet. Jolene is still working on house training but is making good strides and will use potty pads while indoors. Jolene will need a patient owner/family who will continue her training while providing her all the love and attention that she deserves. Jolene is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Zach is a 3 year old, 13 pound mini poodle who is super chill and just wants to hang out in a lap and get love. He absolutely loves love. He is among the easiest of the foster dogs his foster family has ever had - he rarely barks, he picked up potty training quickly, and doesn't chew things around the house. He listens to "no" and will follow you wherever you go. He has a bit of arthritis in his back left leg so he doesn't love long walks but zips around the house with no issue and loves being held. His foster family has a little stroller that he chills in when they go on walks and he loves it - and everyone who sees him in it loves it too. He also does great on car rides! He is a good eater and loves treats. He's still figuring out toys but is mostly interested in cuddling and getting pets. If you are looking for an easy-going boy who will be a great little companion, Zach is your guy! Zach is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. His adoption fee is $450.00.
