It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! TOULOUSE was saved by an independent rescuer. Well fast forward to a few years ago, the lady was killed by a drunk driver. We were asked to help with her rescues and to our dismay, her house was a horrific hoarding case. We pulled 55 cats that were still alive. Our rescue took 26 of those cats into out rescue. TOULOUSE is now healthy and ready for adoption. Meet TOULOUSE! This gorgeous Ragdoll has been through a lot, but despite his timid nature, he’s managed to hold onto his sweet spirit. TOULOUSE was rescued from a severe hoarding situation, and though he's had a long journey, he’s looking for a calm, understanding home where he can continue to heal and thrive. TOULOUSE is a cat of few words, but he’ll tell you everything you need to know with his expressive face and adorable antics. He may not be a lap cat or a cuddler, and that’s okay! He’s the type who prefers to keep his distance, but he’s still very social in his own way. He enjoys being near you and will often approach to check you out, respond to your voice with those signature Siamese cute faces, and entertain you with his playful little quirks. While he’s not one for being touched just yet, TOULOUSE can form strong bonds with people who understand his boundaries and give him the time and space he needs. His ideal home would be with someone patient and gentle who can respect his need for space, while still offering him companionship and a safe environment to feel comfortable. TOULOUSE may not be the type to curl up on your lap or snuggle close, but that doesn’t mean he’s not capable of showing affection. He’ll share his company with you on his terms and, in his own way, let you know just how much he enjoys being around you. TOULOUSE is looking for a forever home where he can feel safe and loved without pressure—just a calm, quiet place where he can live life at his own pace. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********** VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. +++++ PLEASE NOTE: We only have cats in Murrieta and City of Industry +++++ PETSMART in City of Industry, California off Colima Road in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************ If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. Her name is Mercy. She is 11 months old. Very sweet and calm. She is very affectionate and needs lots of love. She is not a crazy cat that goes wild, but one that stays put and doesn't ask you for much. I will be moving and cannot bring her with me. I am doing all to keep her away from a shelter. Thankyou.
