So one day while on Facebook, Rescue Mama saw that there were 2 very young cats living in a back yard. Long story short, we rescued the girls and right before their vet appointment they had kittens. We are not sure which kittens belong to which mom because they were born in the middle of the night and both sisters nursed them. So now the babies are fully vetted and ready for their FUREVER homes. One was 8 weeks old. PRINCE CHARMING and several feline family members were saved from a horrific hoarding case in Riverside, California. We know they are all related because the horrible human woman, kept letting them mate. When the Rescue Mama found out she took action. The lady was killed by a drunk driver. We were asked to help with her rescues and to our dismay, her house was a horrific hoarding case. There was so many dead cats and feces everywhere. We pulled 55 cats that were still alive. Our rescue took 26 of those cats into out rescue. STEWART was one of the lucky ones to get out alive. Meet STEWART (or as his friends call him, Stewy), a gentle 5 year old tabby with a heart as soft as his plush, striped fur. This shy yet sweet boy hails from Lucerne Valley, CA, and has experienced quite the journey to becoming the loving companion he is today. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********** SEPTEMBER 2024: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue or any PETSMART near you! The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one available to take calls. ************* If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue.
