Story
Dutchess, 7 yr old domestic longhair mix, looks like Ragdoll. DOB 3/17/19 She's crosseyed &possibly some blindness.I got Dutchess as a kitten from a family member. Both Dutchess & her mom are the sweetest, most cuddly cats ever! loves kneeding when cuddling. Dutchess is really good w/ kids, tolerates dogs but scared of cats. I feel she'd be best suited as an only pet or a barn cat as she has been urinating all over my home for 5+ years. She was great the 1st two years, not sure what happened- no major changes-we think it was after our older dog passed & our older cat being mean to her.She knows how to use the litter box but chooses not to at any given time.I've tried everything to help Dutchess, nothing seems to work. She can go outside but prefers indoors due to limited vision &the constant need for affection. She's very submissive. Doesn't attack or scratch. Allows nail trimmings & baths(gets mad,but gives in)She deserves a loving home as an only animal & not feeling threatened.

Story
If you’re “shopping” for a cat please go else where. If you’re just thinking about adopting, decide 1st. She needs a real cat person that will love any cat because all cats deserve to be loved and not somebody looking for a certain esthetic. What are you truly looking for? Moma was a stray cat with a litter of four kittens running around my apartment complex during the summer of 2024. I started feeding them and realized she was pregnant again. I was able to trap her and get those kittens. She was about to get spayed at the spca for their TNR program. After she recovered from the surgery I released her but she came right back inside later that night. I wasn’t planing on keeping her but she’s so cute and just wants to sleep and cuddle. The spca people said she was about 4 years old at the time so she about 5 now. She can be skidding with new people but is very curious. She hasn’t been around small children or dogs, just other cats.
