Story

Juliet is a soft, long-haired beauty with a heart as sweet as her purr is loud. With her dreamy cream, white, and silvery tabby coat and big loving eyes, Juliet is a true showstopper inside and out. She was discovered as a tiny 5-week-old kitten, crying out for help from inside a dumpster at a chrome paint factory warehouse in Compton. Our rescue had previously saved more than 9 cats from that very location, so when we got the call, we knew we had to act fast, and we’re so thankful we did. Juliet has since blossomed into one of the most affectionate cats. She adores being pet, loves face and belly rubs, and purrs like a motor the moment she gets attention. Juliet is incredibly loving, playful, and social, but she does have some manageable chronic health needs. She experiences mild chronic sinusitis, which may cause occasional nasal discharge, especially during times of stress. She also has some redness in her gums and so she should remain on a wet food-only diet to stay comfortable. While she’s still too young for a full stomatitis diagnosis, her vet recommends regular brushing and routine anesthetic dental cleanings to support her long-term oral health. Juliet would thrive in a stable, low-stress indoor home where her routine is consistent. She’d do great as a solo cat or in a home with gentle cats (up to date on their FVRCP vaccine), or even a respectful dog. Her medical needs are very manageable, and her affection and companionship more than make up for the extra TLC she’ll need. Juliet has overcome so much in her short life, and we know her perfect family is out there ready to give her the love, stability, and soft laps she deserves.

My girlfriend and I was given cupcake from my brother. My brother has two other cats that were not the greatest to cupcake and she was hiding all day long and only coming out to eat. When we got cupcake about a year ago, she has been out and about in our apartment, and more friendly with my household. We are unable to care for her as much anymore as we have a busier schedule, and would love for this sweet girl to go with a family that would be able to give her love.

He loves lounging in warm sunbeams, curling up in any box he can find, and chatting softly when he thinks it’s mealtime. He enjoys gentle pets and quiet company, though he prefers not to be held. Marshmallow is fully vetted—vaccinated, dewormed, de-flead, neutered, microchipped, freshly bathed, and nail-trimmed—and he comes with his medical record card. He is looking for a peaceful, forever home where he can enjoy the next 10 years with someone who appreciates a mellow, sun-loving companion. He does well with other gentle, respectful cats. Chloe is a much loved ragdoll, however she is prone to crystals in her urine so she needs a special diet and the food is about $70 dollars a bag. Was not prepared for that at all. Very loving and likes to just hang out and snuggle. She was born on 10/04/2023. She is about 15lbs at least she was the last time I took her to the vet. Looking for someone who has time for her and able to afford her food and grooming needs. Thank you! I have more pictures if you are serious just couldn't figure out how to upload them here. Meet Riley, a petite lady cat who has been rescued and re-rescued. When we first learned of Riley, she had been deposited by her owners at a vet to be euthanized, even though she was perfectly healthy. Then she was adopted by a Village resident. Then she came to the Cat Club. Then she was adopted by another resident and her daughter. Then she was given to a sailor and spent time at sea. Then police found her abandoned at the Long Beach Marina and she ended up back with the Cat Club. But in spite of all her adventures, Riley is the friendliest, most companionable cat we have ever known. Don't let her age distract you from having this beautiful, easygoing little being in your life. Pretty Riley has brown tabby stripes, white throat, tummy, and paws, and bright green-gold eyes. Riley's 15 years old, vet-checked, and doing fine. She's not afraid; she welcomes pets and attention even from strangers. Riley enjoys a bit of gossip -- talk to her and she'll chatter back. She enjoys a play session chasing wand toys, but she's also big on just relaxing near her foster. She's a laid-back lady cat who's hoping for a permanent loving home.
