Meet Riley, a petite lady cat who has been rescued and re-rescued. When we first learned of Riley, she had been deposited by her owners at a vet to be euthanized, even though she was perfectly healthy. Then she was adopted by a Village resident. Then she came to the Cat Club. Then she was adopted by another resident and her daughter. Then she was given to a sailor and spent time at sea. Then police found her abandoned at the Long Beach Marina and she ended up back with the Cat Club. But in spite of all her adventures, Riley is the friendliest, most companionable cat we have ever known. Don't let her age distract you from having this beautiful, easygoing little being in your life. Pretty Riley has brown tabby stripes, white throat, tummy, and paws, and bright green-gold eyes. Riley's 15 years old, vet-checked, and doing fine. She's not afraid; she welcomes pets and attention even from strangers. Riley enjoys a bit of gossip -- talk to her and she'll chatter back. She enjoys a play session chasing wand toys, but she's also big on just relaxing near her foster. She's a laid-back lady cat who's hoping for a permanent loving home. URGENTLY LOOKING for REHOME!! IF NO ONE TAKES THEM I WILL BE SURRENDERING:( Expecting new baby soon!! (Midnight-black female) (Gus- orange male) About two years ago I lived in Istanbul Turkey. There are many stray cats there. One day I opened my car door and Gus jumped right into my lap like he chose me. Midnight I found just a few weeks later in the same way! They were just kittens then. I decided to take him home and get their health better and give him the necessary vaccines and spayed them both. They are in great health now! We love them so much. They have been such warm and happy cats. They will make a great addition to any home. They are funny, playful and is chill but very loving. We have new children in our home and just can’t give them the attention that he deserves. I want him to feel very loved and cared for in his new home. Nonnegotiable that they go together. Willing to provide cat litter robot, water fountain, cat tower, automatic feeder as well if you’re wanting.

I understand money can be tight after the holidays so I’m willing to offer three months of cat food and litter as child support! I adopted Jamie from the OC Animal Care on 11/17/2024, they estimated her age to be about two years old. In the year that I’ve had the pleasure of having her, she has been a joy to me. She is sweet, a cuddle bug, is very quiet and oddly loves water running from taps. The only problem is that she does not like my three other cats, she hisses and fights with them constantly, and after a year of trying to have everyone get along, I feel she would be happier living in another home either without cats or at least not three. It absolutely breaks my heart to be doing this, but I think Jamie will have a happier life in another home. My wish is that Jamie will find a new family that will love her as much as I do, because she adores people, she just does not get along with cats.

Baccarat was adopted as a kitty from a shelter in Huntington Beach, and grew up with a “roommate” cat. He is almost 4 years old, LOVES tuna, and his favorite toys are either balls (he almost knows how to play fetch) or anything that looks like a snake. He’s a really laidback cat, does his own thing, and gives you just enough love. He has a lot of love to give, in his own ways and on his time. The ideal owner for Baccarat is someone who has a lifestyle that can maintain him for the rest of his years. I was not thinking long term when I adopted Baccarat three years ago, and am now unable to keep him out of respect and love for him and his lifestyle. Baccarat is one of the most expressive and cool cats I’ve ever met (he responds to “dude” btw), and if you two are a match, you’re set for life!
