Meowulf is a sweet and easy-going kitty that has the softest fur around! He loves to receive pets and observe the world around him before jumping in to playtime. He absolutely loves his panther stuffy (seen in his photos) and comfy cozy beds to nap in. Meowulf seems to enjoy taking life at a slower pace, so an ideal home for him will be on the quieter side where he can play, nap, and hang out with his people without a lot of hustle and bustle. Meowulf is such a gem, please stop by the shelter to meet this sweet boy! Meowulf is 1 year old and weighs 12 pounds. Kitten was abandoned in a court in Concord. We were able to get the kitten in a carrier as the neighbor noted that there was something wrong with the tail. She was spayed and her tail evaluated. No treatment needed for the tail at this time. Further exam with x-rays revealed mega colon. Very sweet cat but will need medicine for the near future to evaluate if her colon will begin to contract normally. She is on a laxative and cisapride to help with colon motility. She is extremely sweet and gentle. She is shy when she doesn't know people but warms quickly. Would need a home that is capable of monitoring her poop and to administer medication.   Update: Doing great. Loves people. Tolerates other cats but prefers human interaction. Loves to be held. Malibu came to us as a kitten when she wandered into our yard one day. She’s about 4 years old. She used to live with another cat in our house so she’s been around one cat. She’s sweet, purrs, likes to be pet under her chin. She may be better as an outdoor cat because she has been peeing in the house. The vet says she has crystals in her urine so that might be the issue. She has cat food for this issue.

I found Opal’s mother at a school while I was working, and brought her home. She started showing, and had a litter of five. Opal is one of two girls. She is energetic, curious, sweet, and affectionate. I love her dearly!
