Story
Hi, I’m Maggie I’m a 7-year-old purebred Ragdoll looking for a calm, loving home where I can be your one and only feline princess. I absolutely love pets and attention — the second you start petting me, I turn into a purring machine. I’m sweet, gentle, and happiest hanging out near my people. I’m not really a cuddly lap cat, but I do enjoy companionship and being admired from a comfy nearby spot. I would prefer to be the only cat in the home so I can soak up all the love and attention for myself. A quiet home where I can relax, be spoiled, and enjoy life at my own pace would be perfect for me. If you’re looking for a beautiful, affectionate companion with a soft coat and an even softer heart, I might just be your girl. For more information email cmgee29@yahoo.com   For further information, please email the foster, or contacthalo@yahoo.com. To see more of our cats, please visit http://www.eccchalo.org June 18, 2026, 8:16 pm

Story
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA:  Hi, I’m Oscar, a friendly young Ragdoll-mix male!  I enjoy human attention and like everyone I meet.  I love to sleep on my foster mom’s bed at night.  She describes me as “a playful, floppy sort of fellow, outgoing and goofy!” My pal Sterling and I are a bonded pair, and we need to be adopted together.  We've never been around dogs or children, but we get along great with other cats. I was born in approximately February 2024, have been fixed and am up to date on my shots. Please note: Oscar has chronically runny eyes as well as cherry eye, but these conditions do not seem to bother Oscar and his veterinarian has ruled out any infection. This is a Courtesy Post, and Oscar is in a private foster home in Pleasant Hill, California.  For more information, please contact Suzanne at suzannejo16@gmail.com. Please Note: This cat has not yet been tested for FIV/FeLV, to our knowledge. Potential adopters should confirm the cat’s status with the rescuer and should consult with their veterinarian for recommendations regarding testing.March 15, 2026, 5:56 pm

Story
If you’re “shopping” for a cat please go else where. If you’re just thinking about adopting, decide 1st. She needs a real cat person that will love any cat because all cats deserve to be loved and not somebody looking for a certain esthetic. What are you truly looking for? Moma was a stray cat with a litter of four kittens running around my apartment complex during the summer of 2024. I started feeding them and realized she was pregnant again. I was able to trap her and get those kittens. She was about to get spayed at the spca for their TNR program. After she recovered from the surgery I released her but she came right back inside later that night. I wasn’t planing on keeping her but she’s so cute and just wants to sleep and cuddle. The spca people said she was about 4 years old at the time so she about 5 now. She can be skidding with new people but is very curious. She hasn’t been around small children or dogs, just other cats.

These cats are in Tracy, California too!

Not good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
My name is Bo Catan, and I’ve already lived one full story. I was found outside with a litter of five tiny kittens, doing my best to keep them safe while hiding from the world myself. I’m a naturally shy girl, and being a mom out in the open was scary. But I never gave up on them. All five of my babies were adopted into loving homes. While they found their happy endings, I stayed behind with the kind people at California Cat Rescue, slowly learning that not all humans are something to fear. They’ve been so patient with me, and because of that, I’ve blossomed into a loving, quiet companion with so much to give. I’m about 3 years old now. I still have a gentle, cautious nature, but once I trust you, I absolutely live for cuddling on the couch and letting my silly side come out. I get the zoomies, I flop over for attention, and I turn into the softest little shadow by your side. I just need a little time and patience to adjust, and then I’ll be yours completely. I’d do well as your only cat, especially if you're looking for a calm and cozy bond, but I also get along just fine with other gentle cats. Bullies are not my thing, but kind kitty friends are always welcome. I gave everything I had to raise my kittens. Now it’s my turn to be loved and cared for. I’m ready for my forever home, my soft couch, and my fairy tale ending. Maybe it starts with you.

Story
This tiny girl is equal parts brave explorer and professional cuddle assistant. 🩷 Her favorite activities include: • curling up directly on your chest the second you sit down • watching you doom scroll like she’s deeply invested in the drama • waddling around with the cutest little walk you’ve ever seen • following you around to supervise your daily activities She’s the kind of kitten who wants to be involved in everything you do. Folding laundry? She’s helping. Watching TikToks for two hours? She’s there judging your algorithm choices. Taking a nap? Perfect, she already claimed the spot next to you. Unlike most tiny creatures, she approaches life with full confidence and the attitude of someone who pays bills around here. Sweet, social, cuddly, and ridiculously charming — she’s basically a tiny emotional support bestie with paws. Adopt her if you’re looking for: 🩷 constant companionship 🩷 tiny happy stomps across your floor 🩷 a brave little shadow that follows you everywhere 🩷 a cuddle buddy that fully supports your screen time habits Nut's date of birth is 3/7/2026.
