Ragdoll kittens & cats in Lathrop, California

Kitten was abandoned in a court in Concord. We were able to get the kitten in a carrier as the neighbor noted that there was something wrong with the tail. She was spayed and her tail evaluated. No treatment needed for the tail at this time. Further exam with x-rays revealed mega colon. Very sweet cat but will need medicine for the near future to evaluate if her colon will begin to contract normally. She is on a laxative and cisapride to help with colon motility. She is extremely sweet and gentle. She is shy when she doesn't know people but warms quickly. Would need a home that is capable of monitoring her poop and to administer medication.   Update: Doing great. Loves people. Tolerates other cats but prefers human interaction. Loves to be held. Not on any medicine or special treatmentOctober 16, 2026, 12:21 am

She is about 2 years old.  Her favorite hobby is bird watching from a safely screened window, where she takes her role as Neighborhood Wildlife Supervisor very seriously. When she’s not keeping tabs on local birds, she’s likely following her favorite humans from room to room because, in Lucy's opinion, life is simply better together. Lucy loves to brushed and pet. She is also a wonderful lap cat.  Lucy is incredibly people-oriented and loves being near her humans. Her signature move is the Welcome Home Belly Flop™. Leave the room and come back? Belly flop. Come home from work? Belly flop. Walk by and say hello? Another belly flop. It’s her adorable way of showing how happy she is to see you. She gets the occasional case of the zoomies, loves sleeping near her people, and is always happy to accept attention. Lucy does have one important request: she’d like to be your one and only cat. Other cats make her uncomfortable, and she’ll be happiest in a home without feline roommates.  If you’re looking for a beautiful cat with a big personality, a loving heart, and a knack for making you feel like the most important person in the world, Lucy is ready to meet you.Click here to watch a video of Lucy.October 16, 2026, 2:09 am

Meowulf is a sweet and easy-going kitty that has the softest fur around! He loves to receive pets and observe the world around him before jumping in to playtime. He absolutely loves his panther stuffy (seen in his photos) and comfy cozy beds to nap in. Meowulf seems to enjoy taking life at a slower pace, so an ideal home for him will be on the quieter side where he can play, nap, and hang out with his people without a lot of hustle and bustle. Meowulf is such a gem, please stop by the shelter to meet this sweet boy! Meowulf is 1 year old and weighs 12 pounds. All cats/kittens will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated according to age, dewormed, and current on flea/tick prevention before adoption unless otherwise noted for age or health reasons. Please note: our kitties have been indoors-only and not accustomed to life outside and the dangers involved (cats are easy targets for predators). If you're looking for an outdoor-only cat (aka barn cat), please check out the barn cats with our friends at Tuolumne County Animal Control. Interested in adopting or fostering? Hello, This is Lulu, I found her outside of my apartment about a year ago and she has been with me since. Unfortunately I am no longer or haven't been in any position to own her during this time as I have a packed schedule and travel a lot for work. I would love to keep her but I don't have the time or capacity to continue to care for her. Since she was a stray, she is not spayed and does not have any shots. She is a really loving and friendly kitty, I would assume she is about 2 or so years old. I would love for her to find her forever family and go to a home where she can get the proper attention she requires. She is super affectionate.
