Once upon a time, Cheese was found in the woods by a family who had dogs that did not like cats. They were sad not to keep her because she was so sweet, but she needed a cat friendly home. When she came to live with me, she was a little wild (as kittens found in the woods might be), but when introduced to a younger cat, she became very motherly. She seems to know when people are sad or having a hard time, and will often sit with whomever needs her the most. She likes to be held some, and will let you know when she is finished. She's a great lap cat, and loves to watch birds and squirrels from the window. It's been a while since she's been around kids or other pets, so she may need some time to adjust, if you have either of those in your home. She does not like carpeted steps or closed doors (she will scratch at the carpet around these), but she tends to be okay with furniture.

Tricks is a huge, lovable ball of cuddles who LOVES wand toys! He doesn't like closed doors and I think he would love a catio. He loves cuddles and boops, will sit on our laps and even be held like a baby for a short time. He deserves a home with much more attention than we can provide. We've had him neutered and tested. Am happy to say that he's negative for FIP and FeLV. He also seems very interested in our cats and has met a few. Not one negative reaction on his part. He's starting to get used to our dogs, though our dogs are very chill with cats. He's actually been caught lying next to one a time or two. He may not do as well with nosy or hyper dogs.

Tucker is a 3 year old male who I’ve been fostering for a couple months now. After taking some time to warm up to me he has become very sweet. He likes to lay on my chest and sleep on the couch while I watch TV. He’s mostly pretty chill. I have other cats in the house and he gets along with them well! My parents dog has been over and he didn’t mind but also wasn’t thrilled, he mostly just left him alone. I don’t know if I would recommend a home with children since Tucker can get overstimulated easily. He is a very sweet boy and has been fun to have around. I would really like to find him a home soon so I can take in more fosters during kitten season.

He's a good cat but just won't stop tearing up my RH furniture. The cost of repairing the furniture is less than buying replacements, even at their Outlets but it's still high enough, to where I realize he's impractical to keep. I imagine he'll be a bit insulted or hurt for awhile but once he warms up in a new home, he'll be fine.

Last year my oldest child and I were taking a walk and a tiny little cat followed us home. We thought she was a kitten, but she brought us 2 kittens the next day! We took her to the vet and found out she was a stray. We got her fixed, vaccinated, and up to a nice healthy weight. She's a super sweet cat, but we've already got several cats and would like to find her a nice home!

Bri came to us due to housing issues of her prior owner. She is bonded to her sister Lucy and they are often found napping together. For this reason, they are a 2-for-1 deal and must go together. Lucy and Bri are very reserved here at the shelter. Shy but sweet introverts, this enviroment is overhwhelming to them and they prefer to hang out on the top shelf of their cage rather than come to the front for affection. But once you take a moment to pet these girls, you`ll see that they are quiet beauties who need a calm home for them to feel more at ease. Estelle is a beautiful tabby girl who found herself at a TNR clinic (hence the ear tip) but she is not at all feral and a clinic volunteer thought she deserved an indoor home. She is so pleasant and friendly. She lived on a property with several other cats so we think she might do well in a home with other felines. Don`t overlook this demure beauty, she`s a gem.

Dominique was brought to us by a Good Samaritan after she`d been abandoned in a pet store parking lot. She is quirky, mildy spicy and super cute. This little house panther is a young adult, around 2 years of age so she has plenty of spunk left. Because of how she came to us, we don`t know much about her, but the person who rescued her did state in the few days they had her, she liked to sleep in bed with them. Meet this little girl today!
