Located in Austin, TexasMeet Letha – A Ragdoll Beauty with a Heart as Soft as Her Fur! 💕Purebred Ragdoll | Female | Approximately 5 Years OldSome stars are born to shine. Others have to fight their way back into the spotlight. Meet Letha, our beautiful leading lady who is finally getting the chance to live the life she deserves.Named with a nod to actress Letha Weapons, this gorgeous purebred Ragdoll has a story that deserves its own Hollywood ending. And after everything she's endured, we intend to make sure her next chapter is filled with love, comfort, and plenty of cuddles!Letha came to SOS Cat Rescue & Rehoming as part of an abuse case involving a backyard breeder. When she arrived, she was severely neglected—her beautiful coat was matted, she was underweight, she smelled terrible, and she was understandably frightened. Instead of being cherished for the magnificent creature she is, Letha had been deprived of the basic care and kindness every animal deserves. But here's where her story gets beautiful.Despite everything she's been through, Letha has an incredibly sweet and affectionate personality. She genuinely enjoys human companionship, loves to cuddle, and has already shown us that she's willing to trust again. And grooming? This girl is learning to appreciate her very own beauty salon! Letha willingly accepts brushing and grooming, which is especially important for a Ragdoll with her luxurious coat. We like to think she knows she's finally being treated like the princess she was always meant to be.She's also eating well, which is wonderful news for a girl who arrived needing to gain weight and rebuild her strength.A Little About Our Leading LadyRagdolls are famous for their gentle dispositions, affectionate personalities, and gorgeous, silky coats. Often described as the teddy bears of the cat world, they tend to enjoy being close to their people.Letha certainly seems to have inherited that loving Ragdoll spirit! Beneath her neglected exterior was a girl who simply wanted someone to love her. She's not asking for much—just a soft place to land, nutritious meals, gentle hands to brush her beautiful fur, and someone who will never let her down again. Her Health & Special CareBecause of Letha's background, SOS is taking extra precautions to evaluate her overall health and ensure she is ready for her forever home. Here's what we know so far:FIV/FeLV: Tested negative.FVRCP: Received her initial vaccine and will receive an additional dose before adoption.Rabies: Will be vaccinated before going home.Spay status: Currently unconfirmed; her status will be verified and addressed before adoption.Nutrition: She is eating well and will go home with a carefully outlined diet and recommended supplements to support her recovery.Grooming: She accepts brushing and will need a family committed to maintaining her beautiful Ragdoll coat.Medical evaluation: Ongoing as we assess her overall condition following neglect.Letha's future family must be willing to follow her specific nutritional and care recommendations. After everything her little body has endured, consistency, patience, and proper nutrition are especially important. The Forever Home Letha DeservesWe are looking for someone who understands that adopting a rescued purebred cat isn't just about bringing home a beautiful animal. It's about giving that animal the security, stability, and unconditional love she may never have experienced.Letha deserves a home where she will be treasured—not bred, neglected, or forgotten.A home where brushing is a bonding experience, mealtimes are something to look forward to, and cuddles are always available.Letha has already survived the hardest part of her story. Now she needs someone to help her write the happiest part. Our beautiful leading lady is ready for a new role: beloved family member.Could you be the person who gives Letha the standing ovation she deserves?💕 Apply to adopt Letha through SOS Cat Rescue & Rehoming at www.soscatrescue.org.Because every Ragdoll deserves a little luxury, but every rescued cat deserves a lifetime of love.Thank you for considering adopting one of our kittens/cats.
