Story
Charlie is very sweet. The reason we need to rehome her is because we recently moved into a new home and she stopped using the litterbox (she has always been a bit particular about it, but has since just decided to continue peeing on our carpets.) She doesn’t have any experience with dogs, but she has a bit of a timid personality until she has warmed up, so I don’t imagine she would thrive in a household with dogs. She has one brother cat from the same litter that she interacts with occasionally, but for the most part does her own thing. She has been completely fine with our newborn-toddlers

Story
Callie is approximately 12 years old and in very good health. She is spayed but not microchipped. She does well with our two current dogs, but this has not always been the case with other dogs we have owned. She has never been around other cats, so it is unknown whether she would get along with other cats. We think she would be best suited in a home where she is the only pet.

Crystal was from the Humane Society. She's very loving and likes to play. Unfortunately with my new job, I have to travel a lot now and she no longer gets enough attention. She does well when I clip her nails myself, she loves treats, and she's mellow.

Story
Dora and Mamba are 2- year old sisters and would love to be adopted together. They are orphans and looking for a loving home. Their Mom passed from a sudden illness. They are sweet kitties to be held and patted. Dora loves teasing Elle our dog, but after a good playful round will rest next to her. Mamba is good around Elle but keeps her distance. Dora is quite and easygoing while Mamba, the runt of the litter of 8, is playful and vocal and loves attention. They have everything they need to move in, comfy beds, new cat tower, beautiful enclosed litter box and more.

Story
We recently moved into this apartment, and on our second day here we accidentally left our porch door open. A very friendly cat wearing a pink collar walked inside and immediately made herself at home. We named her Aurora. She is incredibly sweet, loves to cuddle, and enjoys being around people. We have spent the past week actively trying to locate her original owner. The apartment complex informed us that she has been seen around the property for at least two weeks, and despite our efforts, no owner has come forward. While we would truly love to keep Aurora, our lease agreement and work schedules unfortunately make that impossible. Our priority is making sure she finds a safe, loving, and permanent home. We are more than happy to personally deliver her to her next family to ensure she transitions smoothly. If you or someone you know is looking for a affectionate and gentle companion, Aurora would make a wonderful addition to a loving home.

Story
🌟 Meet Mars 🌟 6-year-old female cat (born Aug 4, 2019). Strikingly beautiful, confident, and affectionate on her terms—loves curling up under blankets, nighttime cuddles, treats, catnip, and playtime. Polite and independent alpha-type; bonds deeply with respectful owners who understand her boundaries (gentle warnings when she’s had enough petting). Thrives in adult-only homes or with experienced cat guardians. Gets along with other cats but prefers her own space, especially for food/resources. Needs a clean litter box. Mars is a loyal, cuddly companion who rewards security with genuine devotion. Perfect for someone seeking a personality-packed, non-clingy queen!

I am currently in a foster home and not at HSNBA, if you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. E-mail HSNBA at adoption@hsnba.org, call us at: (830) 629-5287 or stop by and speak with the folks at HSNBA at 3353 Morningside Dr. to get your information sent over to my foster home. My foster family is the best and can give you more information on me.I’m not feral, but I’m also not a cuddly house cat. I don’t enjoy being handled and may never be a lap cat. I coexist well with people and may become more social as I settle in, but I’ll always prefer affection on my own terms.Ideal Home: Best suited for an experienced adopter looking for a low-key companion, porch cat, or indoor/outdoor cat who understands that love doesn’t always mean cuddles.HSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight.
