Story
Chanel is the sweetest cuddliest cat. Loves being with people and great with kids. She is 3 years old. We have had her for a few months and she is unfortunately not getting along with our other adult cat. They take turns marking the house, and it hasn’t gotten much better. Chanel has never had an issue with this prior to us and I think it is purely because of the rivalry between them. We are so sad to give her away but hoping she will go to a wonderful family who can love on her like she deserves. She’s a great cuddle buddy!!

Story
Mikko is a gentle, low-energy girl who thrives in a low-traffic home. She would do best in a calm environment with an experienced cat owner who is home most of the day and can give her the steady routine and attention she loves. Mikko has grown up around calm dogs—both small and large—and does well with them as long as they respect her space. However, she has had mixed experiences with other cats and has not been around children, so she would do best as the only cat in a home without energetic kiddos. She has made great progress with greeting visitors through positive reinforcement and will now happily say hello—especially if there’s a treat involved! Like many cats, she may continue to improve with patience and consistency. Mikko is an indoor-only cat but would absolutely enjoy a safe outdoor setup like a catio. Otherwise, she’s perfectly content basking in sunny windows and relaxing nearby. While she enjoys the occasional wand toy or catnip session, she’s truly happiest as a cozy cuddle buddy. Mikko does have a chronic condition called Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC), which can cause UTI-like symptoms during flare-ups without the presence of bacteria. She also experiences some stress and anxiety. Her condition is well-managed with simple daily medication and an as-needed anti-inflammatory during flare-ups—all easily handled at home without frequent vet visits. Potential adopters are encouraged to research FIC to fully understand her needs. She may be shy at first and will need time, patience, and understanding to build trust—but once she bonds with you, Mikko is incredibly affectionate. She’s a professional lap cat with big purrs, and loves to show her affection through head bumps and kisses. Chin and cheek scratches are her favorites, though she’ll never turn down a good back pat. At night, if invited, Mikko will happily curl up beside you. Just be warned—you might wake up to her lovingly grooming your hair in true cat fashion!  Mikko live in Independence with her owner and her rehoming fee is $100.  Mikko is indoor only.   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Aroura is a Ragdoll-Persian (Perdoll) & is only available with her Perdoll papa, Winter (see his post). They are always together! When our daughter adopted Aurora as a kitten, Winter became depressed & stopped eating. We brought her home & immediately they returned to being inseparable. It's heartwarming to watch them together! Both Winter & Aroura are super sweet, affectionate, playful, large, fluffy lap warmers. Aroura will flop in from of you, exposing her fluffy belly, tempting your hand or foot for a warm tummy rub, then viscously, painlessly, engulf her prey with all her might! Winter will do the same, but we don't recommend falling for HIS tummy-trap! His prowess is fitting his 10+lbs of fluff into the smallest container possible. Aroura loves to cuddle under the blankets at night! They are fabulous with kids & other pets, & are treat-trained. They love going outside, rain/snow/shine, so they'll need at least a catio to get their feet wet in, so they can dry them off on your lap!

Story
Naruto was taken in just weaned from a feral litter. She has a brother, Sasuke, and it would be great for them to go to the same home together, but not required. She will be five years old in April 2026. She is very confident and curious, great as an indoor/outdoor cat. Once she warms up to you she will follow you around and watch you go about your day. He favorite spot is on your lap or in a high place where she can observe everything.

Story
Sasuke was barely weaned when he came from a feral litter. He is about five years old, and will do best in a home with his sister from the same litter, Naruto. He is scared easily and needs extra patience and time with new people. Once he warms up he is very loving and will use his paws to lead hands to pet his head. This gentle boy grew up with rowdy kids and a dog. It may take him time to adjust to it in a new environment, but a loving home will bring his confidence back out and you will find a great companion that sits for treats.
