Story
Meeko is a beautiful and intelligent 5-year old female Ragdoll mix. She isn’t a big fan of being picked up or handled but she is a very smart and responsive girl who understands boundaries and listens when told “no.” Meeko loves making biscuits, playing with interactive toys and using her scratching post. She’s also incredibly clever—she’s even been trained to use the toilet! Meeko does require a little extra care. She has an unknown allergy that causes dermatitis, so she takes a small amount of liquid medication once daily. She’s currently on a single-protein diet while her allergy is being evaluated. Because of this, she will do best with a confident and patient person who can comfortably give her medication. Once Meeko bonds with someone, she becomes deeply attached. She may take some time to warm up to new people in her home, so adopters should be prepared to give her a few weeks to settle in and feel safe. In the past she has enjoyed the company of other animals, although she currently lives as the only pet. Meeko is playful, affectionate in her own way, and very loyal. She would thrive in a calm, interactive home with someone willing to give her the time and care she needs—and in return, she’ll become a devoted companion.  Meeko lives in Hillsboro and her rehoming fee is $75.  Meeko is an indoor only cat. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Meeko  is a wonderful companion once she gets comfortable. She is not a pick me up and cuddle anytime cat. She is a relationship cat. Earn her trust, and you’ll have a loyal companion. Story
We are seeking a home for our beautiful two-year-old seal bicolor Ragdoll female. She comes with pedigree papers and reflects the gentle temperament and elegance the breed is known for. She is affectionate, sweet-natured, and people-oriented. Will gently follow you from room to room, preferring to be near her person for the majority of the time. While she is devoted, she is not a lap cat. She expresses affection by staying close beside you rather than on you. She loves belly rubs! She has a sensitive, refined temperament and thrives in a calm, peaceful household. Loud environments or small children causes her to hide and she would do best as the only cat. Does well older kids. Has been raised with a small dog and adjusted well in that setting. This decision has been made with great care due to allergies after elderly parents recently moved into our home. Our priority is securing a quiet, stable, indoor home where she will be cherished as a true companion. Serious inquiries only.

Story
*READ TO END! Hi, Im Mikko. Im 7 years old & very affectionate, but it takes a long time for me to warm up to someone, so please be patient w/me! I like perching atop windowsills & to watch whats going on. I love laying in the sun & when I have enough energy, I love to play as well! When I'm comfortable, I will want to cuddle... a lot! I have FIC which can be triggered with stress. This means I would thrive in a low-traffic home w/NO children OR other pets. I like being the only child! I need a calm environment to relax in & enjoy my time with you. Its also very important I stay inside; Im not used to the outside. I prefer my fur short so indoor temps will have to be regulated. I have medication to help reduce the chance of triggering my FIC, which is easy-to-administer. Please consider ALL of this before applying! I will come w/all of my vet records, a bag of food, my medication, a carrier, a blanket, & toys. If you are interested, please contact my owner for more details!

These cats are in Hillsboro, Oregon too!

Story
MEOW! I'm FENNEC, a 2-year-old handsome tabby boy who needs a foster or forever home. I tested FIV-positive, which only means I need to be the only cat in your home. I've got a heart full of love to share. I'm a sweet, friendly fellow with a sprinkle of curiosity. I'm smart, too, figuring out things quicker than most. I'm also a cuddly snuggler who loves a good lap to curl up on. I can be a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'm all purrs and head rubs. I'm also independent, so I won't mind if you're busy sometimes. I'm a gentle soul, mellow and easy-going. I promise to bring a touch of tranquility to your life. Can you foster or adopt me?
