Story
We are seeking an exceptional home for our beautiful two-year-old seal bicolor Ragdoll female. She comes with pedigree papers and reflects the gentle temperament and elegance the breed is known for. She is affectionate, sweet-natured, and people-oriented. Will gently follow you from room to room, preferring to be near her person for the majority of the time. While she is devoted, she is not a lap cat — she expresses affection by staying close beside you rather than on you. She loves belly rubs. She has a sensitive, refined temperament and thrives in a calm, peaceful household. Loud environments or small children can startle her, and she would do best as the only cat. She has been raised with a small dog and adjusted well in that setting. This decision has been made with great care due to allergies after elderly parents recently moved into our home. Our priority is securing a quiet, stable, indoor home where she will be cherished as a true companion. Serious inquiries only.

Story
Meeko, 5 years old,  is a truly wonderful companion with a big personality. She may be a Ragdoll, but she definitely didn’t read the manual — she prefers affection on her terms and isn’t a fan of being picked up or pushed into anything she’s not in the mood for. That said, she’s incredibly smart and respectful… she actually listens when you say “no”! She bonds deeply with her person and becomes a devoted companion. Once you’re her human, she wants to be near you, involved in what you’re doing, and part of your daily routine. Favorite things: • Making biscuits (she’s a champion kneader) • Interactive play — toys are best when you play too • Scratching posts and enrichment toys • Hanging out near her person • She’s even toilet trained! Meeko has lived with and enjoyed other animals in the past, but she does take time to warm up to newcomers. Slow introductions will be important — she doesn’t love sudden “invaders” in her kingdom. Medical notes (important but manageable): Meeko has an allergy condition that causes skin irritation and kitty acne. It is currently well controlled with a daily Atopica medication. She strongly dislikes taking her meds, so she’ll need a patient adopter committed to a routine. She is symptom-free right now, though additional testing could be considered in the future if flare-ups occur. Ideal home: A calm, stable home with a patient adopter who wants a close bond with a single devoted cat. She would do best with someone experienced with cats or comfortable giving daily medication and respecting boundaries. Meeko isn’t a “pick me up and cuddle anytime” cat — she’s a relationship cat. Earn her trust, and you’ll have one of the most loyal companions you’ve ever met.  Meeko lives in Hillsboro with her owner and her rehoming fee is $200   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. *located Tualitin Oregon Healthy, Fixed, Vaccinated, Microchipped, indoor Only, Liter-Box Trained, Playful, Loves People, Loves Children, Loves Cats, Good with Dogs, Purr Kitty, Playful, Loves to snuggle, Lap Cats. Mr. JINXY (Ragdoll mix Longhair. - 5 yrs old) NINA girl (Mainecoon mix Tuxedo Longhair. - 3 yrs old) Mr. Jinxy is chill, enthusiastically loving, & delightful. He will lay near you and wait for a spare hand he can cuddle. Gentle grabs and nuzzles will melt your heart. Nina-Girl is overjoyed to greet you at the door! Flopping for snuggled she expects to get some cuddle time. She purrs and grooms herself (and you) when you pet her. She is overjoyed to be touched. Gregarious and happy to meet new people! Very social! (Mr Jinxy is trying out a special diet.) (We believe they would be good with friendly dogs.) These cats deeply and truly love children, they love people, they are good with/love other cats, Most of all they love human companionship. From Former Owners “Mr. Jinxy loves everyone who is nice to him. “He is most affectionate to my daughter. He eats with her, sleeps with her, plays with her and waits outside for her to come home from school. He is also extremely loving to my medically dependent son who is no longer allowed near pets.” Mr JINXY is incredibly sweet and will delight any cat lover. “Nina Girl adored cuddling with my son. She throws herself at your feet and uses her charm to get extra snuggles. Nina will happily snuggle. An open hand is an invitation for cuddle time!” Both really want to be with their people, but will cuddle each other if you aren’t available (*Mr Jinxy is being tried on a special diet.) Consider filling your world for a lifetime of purrs and snuggles by adopting! Snuggling, fun, and happy to meet new people! Very social! This pair would love an home where they can hang out with their people. Easy Going & Love Attention. Reason for rehoming: Heartbroken human family wish they could keep their beloved kitties, but doctors insist that the son must be in a pet free home in the coming years as he faces a serious medical condition. They hope these cats will find a forever home that loves them just as much! Story
Sampon is a 4 year old ragdoll that is a sweetheart! We got him when he was about 6 months old from a breeder in Salem. He doesn't have any issues with our dog and wants to play with our other kitties but they are much older and prefer to keep to themselves. I think he would love to have a playmate buddy to bond with. He is litter trained and an inside only cat. He does have a sensitive stomach so we have to feed him perscription food, and little bits at a time. He truly would love to have a human home with him all the time. I thought I would have more time being at home, but it seems I'm gone more than I expected. If you can provide a loving home with playmates and your undivided attention then Mr. Sampson would fit in perfectly!

Story
Nash was born on 5/11/2025, and has been in our home since end of June 2025. He is a playful, loving 9 month old, litter trained, very large 15.5 pound handsome guy. The reason we are looking for a new home is we have a female 11 year old that will not accept him. He wants to play and so far his assertiveness hasn’t won him a Cat friend. We have tried another home with another female and it was the same outcome. He isn’t mean to the others, just to rough. He loves to play fetch with hair ties. We are looking for a home in which he remains indoors at all times.

Story
Daffy is very bright and curious, loves to play and hunt for toys/treats. She’ll sleep under the covers with you and sit on your lap on her own terms. She’s sweet, feisty, goofy, and purrs like a motor with little chirps. Daffy's very independent and likes to explore nooks and crannies, and is good indoors and out. She was initially the only pet in the house, but I moved in with my partner and his dog 3 years ago, and adopted a puppy this year which she hasn’t been able to adjust to. She’s grown distant and started swatting at us and the puppy, causing some discord. We’re moving into a smaller place and are worried that will exacerbate the problem. I really think being the solo pet in a home would be best for her and make her very happy. The ideal situation would be someone who lives alone (or a couple) who loves and understands cats, and wants to spend time playing and creating a special bond with her. She is truly a gem, and just needs the right scenario to showcase that.

Story
Dumpling is a great cat and he is very loved. He was adopted as a kitten from a shelter in Washington and is almost 3 years old (May ‘23). He originally had two other cats and another human in the household but he and I abruptly moved to Portland about 2 years ago, leaving him alone most days for about 10 hours and many nights. He is a lonely boy and he needs company. He is a VERY social cat, dog like qualities, loves pets (including belly!), likes to chase after balls (not good at fetching), daily zoomies, and is accustomed to backpack/leash walks when the weather is nice. He had one episode of urinary crystals and needed to get a procedure done but with diet change, he has had no issues. I think he would do best in a busy household with other pets (has met dogs and went well but not lived with them) and/or someone who is home a lot like WFH situation. Again, he is very social and needs a lot of attention that I, one person, and finding hard to do.
