What my friends at OHS say about me:I am a social butterfly in the shape of an adorable kitty.Do you like sweet things? Then I am the perfect companion for you!I should be pursuing a career in cat modeling, but instead I'm just looking for a nice family to call my own.I have been exposed to ringworm, which is a common fungal skin infection. I will need to be monitored for any lesions or sudden hair loss.To learn more about my specific needs, please read my Ringworm FAQ handout. Because of my condition, I can't be met with prior to being adopted. If you can hold back from picking me up, I'll come cuddle with you! I like to sit with my people and get pets, but I can be sensitive to being held and carried. To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.I have been exposed to another cat who has been infected with the panleukopenia virus. I will need to be kept separated from unvaccinated or immunocompromised felines for two weeks.I have been diagnosed with dental disease which means I may need dental cleanings or extractions in the future.I have been diagnosed with giardia which is a contagious intestinal parasite. I will need to be quarantined during my treatment period. The type of home I'm looking for:It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process. Story
Chatty is a 12+ year old cat, exact age unknown. Chatty was a full grown cat when she wandered into my mother's yard after a wild fire in California. Photos of Chatty were posted around the area but her owner never came forward. She is very friendly and loves lap time. She has been an indoor only cat with my mother.

Story
Her “legal” name is Jaguar, but I’ve always just called her Kitty. She came to us in November of 2016, so she’s 9 this month. I don’t know when her actual birthday is. </3 Unfortunately, she doesn’t get along well with other animals. As long as they’re low energy, she’ll respect their space and keep her distance. I am beyond devastated and heartbroken to have to rehome her, but she deserves so much better. I was diagnosed with chronic/clinical major depressive disorder in August of 2024 and have struggled to take care of myself then, much less Kitty. She’s very sweet once you get to come close. She doesn’t like being held on her back like swaddling a baby.

Story
Pio is the sweetest silliest boy. A pure snuggle bug who loves to cuddle you to sleep. He’s 4 years old and does great with other pets and kiddos. I think he would benefit greatly from a home where people work from home, there are other pets/kids for him to bond with, or are home routinely often during the work week. He’s been such a good buddy to me these last few years and I just want him to go to the best family option out there possible.

Story
Melon is a sweetpea, she is not my cat, only currently in my care. She was 6 weeks when taken from her mother and put in a home where she was heavily neglected. We saved her and 2 other mamas before the house they had been abandoned at was torn down. She had her kittens in June right before we took her in and has been a great mama but is so very ready to have new humans of her own who just want to give her the love and cuddles she deserves. We are currently trying to find a place to get her spayed, that we can afford.
