Shirley is a sweet dog and loves people. I got her for my daughter when she was young, about ten years ago. My daughter has moved and I have to move, unfortunately, I can’t take her with me. When we got her from the shelter, they believed she was 2 years old. This would make her about 12 years now. She sleeps a lot but, still has much energy and agility to run around and play. I think she would do best with someone who spends a lot of time at home to keep her company.

Red was given to us as a puppy in 2022 by a family with a litter of German shepherd/Terrier mix puppies. He has been a ball of energy since the night we brought him home. Red has an older sister, Autumn the cat, who keeps him in line, and a younger sister, Winter the cat, who loves Red to pieces. Red loves to play fetch, chew on bones and kong balls, chase squirrels and rabbits, just as much as any dog. We now have a baby daughter who Red competes for attention with but will also protect with his life. Over the past few years Red seems to have developed some overly-protective anxiety issues and won't let anyone near us until he wears himself out barking and takes a moment realize there is no threat. We have found ourselves in a personal situation in our family where we may need to move in with family or roommates, and may not allow pets or disruptive behavior. Words to describe Red would be: Playful Protective Loyal Anxious Intelligent

Perry is a sweet and shy 2 year old Basenji mix. She needs someone who is experienced and has a very secure yard as she is an escape artist - like she can undo zippers on some kennels. She would love to have a playmate, right now she loves to run, chase and be chased with her foster brothers. She would actually make an incredible agility dog, if someone put time into training her.
