Meet Hopper ❤️‍🔥🐾 Hopper is a 5yr old, 11lb, Rat Terrier/mix. Hopper is a super sweet boy. Hopper is an active fella, that likes to go for walks, likes to run and play with toys, and likes to play with other dogs. Even though Hopper has old fractures on his hind legs, that doesn’t slow him down, he is faster than any other dog here at the rescue and loves to run around and play. Hopper gets along with all dogs of all sizes and ages, but likes to chase chickens. Hopper also loves to be held and loved on. Hopper may not know many commands,but that is ok, he is treat and love motivated and will come running as soon as you call him. Love and affection is what he craves. Meet the handsome Frankie. He is a 5-month-old (DOB 04/08/25), 10-pound, Rat Terrier/Chihuahua/Spaniel mixed pup with warm brown eyes (his mother Rosie is a Spaniel/Chi mix). He is shy but once he’s used to you, he is loving and attentive. Frankie is friendly with other GENTLE dogs and would do well in a home with an existing dog. He is afraid of bigger and rowdy dogs. His pregnant mom Rosie was rescued by a local groomer. He was born in her home and she found homes for the rest of his litter but Rosie and Frankie came to AFC. FOSTERING SAVES LIVES! He uses a doggie door to go outside to potty but may need some additional house training. He will need leash training when he is fully vaccinated. He is scheduled to be neutered but we are looking for his home now. He is micro-chipped, currently vaccinated and ready for his new home. Frankie will be a wonderful companion.
