To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. Story
I rescued Abby from a bad situation, up north were i lived. She's a quiet dog, senior, loves walks good on a leash. Loves her biscuits cookies ,and rawhide sticks .doesn't bark and listens pretty well.all and all she not a problem. But as a low income person, money becomes a issue more then not. I can't afford a vet bill at all so this is a problem w me. . My apts also want a huge pet deposit. In the long run am sorry I can't afford or keep her. Abby does have a bump on her side .I cannot afford a vet visit but I believe it's a fatty growth .she still gets around fine doesn't seem to bother her.

Perry is a sweet and shy 2 year old Basenji mix. She needs someone who is experienced and has a very secure yard as she is an escape artist - like she can undo zippers on some kennels. She would love to have a playmate, right now she loves to run, chase and be chased with her foster brothers. She would actually make an incredible agility dog, if someone put time into training her. We've seen her hop 6ft fences and then jump right back over! If you think Perry is a dog you can handle, please put in an application. She really is very sweet and beautiful!##2741359##

Story
Red was given to us as a puppy in 2022 by a family with a litter of German shepherd/Terrier mix puppies. He has been a ball of energy since the night we brought him home. Red has an older sister, Autumn the cat, who keeps him in line, and a younger sister, Winter the cat, who loves Red to pieces. Red loves to play fetch, chew on bones and kong balls, chase squirrels and rabbits, just as much as any dog. We now have a baby daughter who Red competes for attention with but will also protect with his life. Over the past few years Red seems to have developed some overly-protective anxiety issues and won't let anyone near us until he wears himself out barking and takes a moment realize there is no threat. We have found ourselves in a personal situation in our family where we may need to move in with family or roommates, and may not allow pets or disruptive behavior. Words to describe Red would be: Playful Protective Loyal Anxious Intelligent
