Story
Meet Maia! ❤️ Maia is an approximately 2-year-old Italian Greyhound mix who is likely fully grown at a petite 17 pounds. She has a heart as beautiful as her sweet face and is ready to find the loving family she deserves. This lovely girl has already overcome so much in her young life. She came to us with extensive burns down her back, but thanks to lots of love and care, she is healing wonderfully and her bright spirit continues to shine. Maia may be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her playful, energetic personality comes to life. She loves to run, play, and explore, making her a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys an active pup. When playtime is over, Maia is happiest curled up next to her favorite person. She is incredibly cuddly, affectionate, and loves nothing more than soaking up attention and giving love in return. At just 17 pounds, Maia is the perfect petite size for cuddling on the couch, joining you on adventures, and fitting right into your home. She is looking for a patient, loving family who will help her continue building confidence and show her that her best days are still ahead. If you're searching for a resilient, gentle, and devoted best friend, Maia just might be the perfect match.
