Meet Sadie Sadie is a sweet girl with a gentle heart who’s looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to learn to trust and feel safe!  She's made so much progress already in her foster home where she is fully house trained.  She loves other dogs and does well with large and small dogs.  While she’s pretty social with her canine friends, she seems a little too curious with the felines so best to supervise closely until certain!  This girl lives for a good game of fetch and will happily show off her frisbee-catching skills!  Once she feels comfortable, her playful, fun-loving personality really shines. Sadie can be a little nervous with frequent changes, and suffered a home where there was domestic violence, so she needs a home where she can feel safe, in a clam, predictable routine.   A calm, steady environment will help her feel safe and confident. She would do well with kids or older children who are dog-savvy and understand how to respectfully interact with her. Sadie is about a year old and 40 lbs and currently up to date on all her vetting, is walking nicely on a leash, and learning to trust more and more as her foster family introduces her to new situations.   She’s not looking for perfect — just patient. Our Freddie is extremely smart, loving and energetic. This girl loves a tennis ball and will walk on water for one. She also loves her big blue ball and her pool. She will spend all her free time trying to balance that ball on her head. She is shy for about three minutes when she first meets you. Give her a few kind words and a tennis ball and you have a best friend for life. She has done well on her crate training but would do much better out of the rescue environment. She would love an active family to love. We did a DNA test on our sweet girl and were shocked at the results. I could have swore this angel was a beagle mix but the results are: 61.7% American Pit Bull Terrier 21.9% Rat Terrier 10% Chow Chow 6.4% German Shepherd
