Spayed or Neutered,
Story
- Prefers to explore and do their own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once they're in a home environment and have had time to decompress - Enjoys spending time with dogs who have a similar play style - Shy pup who may need extra time to warm up to new people and things; will likely open up in a home environment with patience and time and may prefer a calm, quiet home- Does well on a leash - Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for them (mature home recommended) The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 10 Age: 2yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
My name is Winston, but I go by Winnie, too! I am a 11-year-old Bichon Frise/Rat Terrier mix. I am looking for a new home because I don’t get along well with my aggressive big brother, and my family doesn’t have the ability to give me the attention I need anymore.I am:• Lovable, cuddly, and described as having a cat-like temperament• An "old soul" who thrives in a slower-paced home with human attention• Potty trained with no known health issues besides some minor cataracts in my eyes and dental problems from my time before I was rescued• Great at traveling, good with recall, and obsessed with playing fetch• Neutered and up to date on careI get along with kids if they know how to handle me, but I need to be the only dog in my new home. I relax most of the day but still love to run in the yard, play with my toys, and bark at things that pass by the door. I’m a lovable senior pup with lots of love to give! ♥️

Story
Silas is an active boy, kind of goofy. He was born to a litter of 5 in October of 2025 and has been with two of his sisters since then. Dad is a boxer mix and mom is a Jack Russell mix so he is very loyal and loves to play! He is sweet with children, including littles. He loves his chew toys and will chase a ball or frisbee. He is still learning to be on a leash for walks, but doesn't pull, he just likes to wander and explore. He loves to be with his people and although he is crate trained, he can still have accidents if left alone for too long. Silas is super affectionate and cuddly when he calms down. Would be an ideal pup for an active family with children and would love to buddy up with another young dog.
