Their owner passed away and they were turned out. Thank goodness someone picked them up. They are both very sweet and we will be posting them for adoption soon. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. She’s hoping for a home with room to play (she’s working on shedding a few extra pounds 😉) and a cozy lap to curl up in when playtime is over. She gets along well with other dogs and even cats! I found Caydey when she was a puppy wandering the streets after a bad storm about 5 years ago. I saw her thought it was a shame but kept driving. When I got home, my son had her in the house, & she has been a VERY affectionate and loyal friend ever since. She doesn’t need a lot of room, or huge areas for energy. She prefers a lap & a comforting petting. Not a loud dog, and doesn’t play a lot.. just needs love. Very emotional animal. Loves people. A very loyal friend. It’s killing me inside, but its best for her, because I work 12 hours a day now and hate leaving her alone in a kennel. I love her more than being selfish and keeping her here when she just needs a place where she can relax & get affection. Best and easiest dog I have ever had. Please help me find her a loving home. 😢
