Cookies n Cream was adopted from a shelter at 13 weeks old weighing 6lbs, now a one year old happy, healthy, strong and active youngster is looking for a new forever home. He is great with other dogs of all sizes including people big and small. His curiosity and intelligence sets him apart from many. His agile disposition needs an outlet. He is very loyal and I wish I could provide him with all the attention he deserves. Unfortunately my work schedule makes it impossible to deliver and he often spends hours alone in an apartment. He was a companion to a dog 12 years older than him for the entire one year of his life. His buddy passed on and Cookies, though always happy go lucky, will benefit from being around other pets and humans. He is very social, loves dog parks, and is learning to walk on the leash. A perfect match for him would be a younger family with kids or other pets and a place to run around and explore.

I'm a special girl - the total package, you might say. I'm young enough to keep up on adventures and grown-up enough to have my manners down pat. I walk nicely on a leash, I know how to “sit,” and I take treats gently like the polite lady I am. I’m full of love and happiest when I’m with my people. I’m always up for a good game of tug, but I can also entertain myself with a toy while you kick back and relax. Sometimes I get extra silly and parade my toy around before rolling in the grass like the goofball I secretly am. Rawhides and bones? Yes, please. I’ll happily chew next to you, and if there’s a bench nearby, you can bet I’m hopping up to snuggle close - kisses included. When it comes to other dogs, I like to take things slow, so I’d be happy to meet any pups you have at home to see if we’ll be buddies. I’m just waiting for a human who wants a best friend by their side, and I can't wait to meet you! A team member says, "Tanya loves nothing more than hanging out with you, whether it's cuddling up close with a chew toy or being silly with a tug toy. She's a big love bug." Another team member says, "Tanya is a sweetie. She loves affection and is a breeze to walk. She's very smart and very treat-motivated, and she seems like she'd pick up any additional training very quickly."
