Story
Meet Rags – small in size, but big in personality! This spirited little guy was rescued from a high-kill shelter and is now on the lookout for an active family that can keep up with his energy and give him plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Rags is a loving and playful companion with his favorite people, and he absolutely thrives on affection and attention – he’ll even jump up for some extra love! Rags is an incredibly smart and eager learner, but he does require an experienced owner who can continue his training and help manage his resource guarding tendencies. Due to this, Rags would do best in an adult-only home where his family can work closely with our trainers to ensure a smooth transition into his forever home. While Rags generally gets along with dogs, his guarding behavior can make him unpredictable around other animals, so he would be happiest as the only pet in the household. This little guy is a big fan of long walks on sunny days and running around in the yard. He’s treat-motivated and loves learning new tricks with a clicker. If you’re an experienced dog owner who can offer Rags the structure and care he needs, you’ll be rewarded with an incredibly loyal and loving companion!

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Penne Age: 5 months old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Rat Terrier mix Color: Black and white spots (Spotty pattern) Weight: 5kg / 11lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a crowded city pound where I had been placed on the euthanasia list simply because there was no longer enough space. My future was uncertain, but thankfully, rescuers found me in time and brought me to safety. Those scary days are behind me now, and I’ve been given a second chance to find the loving forever family I’ve been waiting for.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I arrived at the city pound when I was just a tiny baby after being born on the streets. I was struggling with several skin issues at the time, but thankfully, those difficult early days are now behind me. The volunteers and staff believe I may be siblings with Gnocchi, and we definitely share plenty of adorable qualities! I can be a little shy when I first meet someone, but tasty treats are the quickest way to win me over. I absolutely love treats, and it usually doesn’t take long before I start feeling more comfortable and showing off my personality. I also have a funny little dramatic side and sometimes like to exaggerate my reactions, which always makes the volunteers and staff laugh. And if that wasn’t cute enough, my tail curls up like a tiny piglet’s tail! I’m a sweet, quirky pup with plenty of personality packed into one adorable little body.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when we first meet, but tasty treats are a great way to help me feel more comfortable. Give me a little time and I’ll start accepting pets and showing you my sweet side. Once I feel safe and trust you, I’m comfortable being picked up and may even roll over to show you my belly for some extra love and affection! · With Dogs: I love greeting new dogs and making new friends! I have a gentle, peaceful nature, and even when another dog is being pushy or rude, I prefer to avoid conflict and keep the peace. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m still learning my leash manners and making great progress every day. With continued practice and gentle guidance, I’m sure I’ll keep improving! I’m a quiet pup who rarely barks and already know how to settle down and rest calmly in my kennel. I also have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals or treats from either people or other dogs. For potty habits, I currently go both indoors using pee pads and outdoors.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding that I’m still a young pup and will need continued guidance and training   SPECIAL NOTES While I can be a little shy like my sibling Gnocchi, I tend to be the braver one of the two! We love doing everything together, and I’ll often take the lead when something new catches our attention. Once I decide it’s safe to go investigate, Gnocchi usually follows right behind me. I’m still a young pup with so much potential ahead of me. I’ll need a forever family who understands that I’m still learning about the world and will give me the patience, guidance, and positive experiences I need to continue building my confidence and grow into the wonderful dog I’m meant to be.   PENNE'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST    Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2852995##

Just give me about a day to settle in, observe my surroundings, and realize that I’m safe, and I’ll start warming up in no time. Once I feel comfortable, my sweet and affectionate personality begins to shine. I’ll start following you around, seeking out pets, and showing you just how loving I can be. A little patience in the beginning is all I need to become your loyal little companion.   GNOCCHI'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2852996##
