Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We rescued Lola from Memphis Animal Control on 4-26-25. She was found close to their facility, with another dog and was very underweight. She becomes more beautiful by the day.   Lola is a sweet, laid back girl, who enjoys the simple pleasures in life (napping and eating) and is ready to find her forever family to retire with.  She’s 9-10 years old, about 40 lbs, and potty trained. She isn’t crate trained in her foster home, but sleeps peacefully at night in her room.    Lola enjoys going to Petco and meeting new people, she gets along with other dogs, but does try to chase cats, so is likely best suited for a home with no cats, unless the situation can be managed.   She does have some back issues and requires daily pain medication (currently less than $20 a month). We believe a calm home, with no small children would be best.    If you would like to apply to adopt Lola, click on the Adoption Application page!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 11, 2026, 10:46 pm

Story
Imagine driving down a rural country road on the way to pickup groceries, when out of the brush comes 2 walking Halloween skeletons.  That is what  Benjamin and his partner Olive looked like when we took them home.  Benjamin is a sweet JRT mix that is about 2 years old and weighs 27 lbs. He loves to play and destuff all of his stuffed animals. When his energy runs out, he will snuggle next to you on the couch. He is a smart boy and will keep you on your toes. Benjamin is learning house manners and will stay in a crate. Benjamin walks well on a harness but beware of squirrels. Because of his high prey drive, absolutely no cats!!! A fenced yard is highly desirable but not a necessity. he can always go out on a leash but never off leash when not in  fenced yard .      If you love the energy and personality of a jack russell, then benjamin, we'll check all the boxes that you are looking for.  Please email critter cavalry rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.    please inform us where you live, city and state since we R based in Tennessee. But we do transport out of state to the northeastern corridor.      ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.July 10, 2026, 2:30 pm

Meet Leila & Skyla — Two Senior Sweethearts Looking for a Lifetime of Love If you’ve been hoping to add double the love, double the charm, and double the snuggles to your home, look no further than Leila and Skyla! This precious bonded pair of medium-small senior ladies (about 25–35 pounds each) is ready to make your life brighter in every way. Leila, a gentle 9-year-old Rat Terrier mix, is the steady heartbeat of the duo. Happy, affectionate, and endlessly loyal, she’s the anchor that gives her best friend comfort and confidence. Skyla, an almost-8-year-old brindle Corgi mix, is a bundle of sweetness with a shy side. She tends to feel nervous when Leila isn’t close by, which is why these two absolutely must be adopted together. When her best friend is near, Skyla blossoms into a playful, happy companion. Both girls have been spayed, microchipped, and are up to date on vaccines and flea/heartworm prevention, so they’re all set for their new beginning. Their adoption fee is just $100 for the pair, because true friendship is priceless—and these two come as a perfect package. Leila and Skyla are hoping for a calm, loving home where they can spend their days inside with their people, enjoying cozy beds, short walks, and plenty of affection. All New Leash dogs are to be primarily indoor pets with supervised outdoor playtime only, and these two are more than happy to follow that routine. If your heart and home have room for two wonderful companions who already come with a lifetime of love for each other—and more than enough to share with you—Leila and Skyla may be your perfect match. Come meet them and let their quiet sweetness win you over. 💛🐾

Story
Meet Kruzer! Some dogs spend their lives waiting for the right person. We think Kruzer has waited long enough. At 8 years old, Kruzer is everything people say they want in a dog. He’s gentle, easygoing, great with other dogs, cat-friendly, walks beautifully on a leash, and absolutely loves being around people. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just wants to be included in your day, Kruzer is your guy. When Kruzer arrived at the shelter, he was heartworm positive. He faced treatment like a champ and has now completed it successfully. After all he’s been through, he’s finally ready to find what every dog deserves—a family of his own. Kruzer isn’t looking for anything fancy. He doesn’t need endless adventures or a huge backyard. He just wants a soft place to rest, someone to love, and a home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by kindness. The funny thing about dogs like Kruzer is that they get overlooked. People walk past because of the gray on their muzzle or the number beside their age. But those who adopt a senior dog will tell you the same thing: they’re some of the very best dogs you’ll ever meet.l Kruzer has spent years learning how to be a good boy. Now he just needs someone to give him a chance. Have other pets? Bring them along for a meet-and-greet! ##2609969##

Story
Pogo has come back to us after being adopted for several years but due to some unfortunate circumstances Pogo has come back to us. We know that Pogo LOVES to play ball and is a champion ball player, seems good with women, and does seem to have some separation anxiety but so far that has not presented itself as destructive of his environment. We are learning where Pogo is at now so he will be coming soon for a bit but stay tuned for more info!July 10, 2026, 10:03 am
