Story
Danica is a small little Toy Fox Terrier with a tender heart and a deep desire to feel safe again. This 2 year old girl who weighs just 9 pounds, was found running scared and lost through a rough neighborhood in rural Tennessee and when no one came forward to claim her, it became clear she was meant to start a new chapter—one where security and love are a given, not a question.  She is the definition of a Velcro baby. Danica wants to be right beside her person, soaking up every moment of closeness she can get. Your lap, your side, the spot right at your feet—that’s where she’s happiest. She does well with cats and seems comfortable around other dogs, but her true favorite will always be her human. Danica is incredibly sweet, a little clingy, and completely honest about her need for reassurance. After the trauma of being lost and the abandonment she’s experienced, who could blame her? She is fully potty trained and thrives when she can form a strong bond with someone who enjoys snuggles, quiet companionship, and being deeply loved. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who will choose you every single time, Danica is ready to give her whole heart to the person who gives her a safe place to land.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Let us know where you live, city and state.  This girl is going to make someone so very happy and loved.  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Meet Leila & Skyla — Two Senior Sweethearts Looking for a Lifetime of Love If you’ve been hoping to add double the love, double the charm, and double the snuggles to your home, look no further than Leila and Skyla! This precious bonded pair of medium-small senior ladies (about 25–35 pounds each) is ready to make your life brighter in every way. Leila, a gentle 9-year-old Rat Terrier mix, is the steady heartbeat of the duo. Happy, affectionate, and endlessly loyal, she’s the anchor that gives her best friend comfort and confidence. Skyla, an almost-8-year-old brindle Corgi mix, is a bundle of sweetness with a shy side. She tends to feel nervous when Leila isn’t close by, which is why these two absolutely must be adopted together. When her best friend is near, Skyla blossoms into a playful, happy companion. Both girls have been spayed, microchipped, and are up to date on vaccines and flea/heartworm prevention, so they’re all set for their new beginning. Their adoption fee is just $100 for the pair, because true friendship is priceless—and these two come as a perfect package. Leila and Skyla are hoping for a calm, loving home where they can spend their days inside with their people, enjoying cozy beds, short walks, and plenty of affection. All New Leash dogs are to be primarily indoor pets with supervised outdoor playtime only, and these two are more than happy to follow that routine. If your heart and home have room for two wonderful companions who already come with a lifetime of love for each other—and more than enough to share with you—Leila and Skyla may be your perfect match. Come meet them and let their quiet sweetness win you over. 💛🐾

Story
Jilly Bean is finishing up her medical requirements and will be ready for her new home soon! This girl is as cute as they come. She LOVES other dogs, so her new home must have a playmate or 3! (She lives with 5 others now and always has someone to play with!) She is working on potty training and doing a pretty great job. She doesn't chew on non-dog things often but when she does, it's an easy redirect to a toy or chew and she's happy. Typical smart puppy stuff. This girl LOVES to eat and is very polite while the preparations are made.  A fenced yard is preferred as Jilly LOVES to run and show everyone how fast she is! She also LOVES to dig. She is learning to use the dog door which has opened a whole new world of possibility in the back yard. Jilly Bean sleeps quietly in her crate all night and enjoys napping in her crate or a dog bed throughout the day. She's a good napper with the humans on the couch and would be a good bed sleeper once she's fully potty trained.  Jilly is approximately 3 months old. Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters. The application is the first step. Story
6 years old | Affectionate | Loyal CompanionCertified Velcro Snuggle BugRandy is a 6-year-old sweetheart who has been thriving in his foster home since January 17. He’s a calm, loving boy who forms strong bonds with his people and truly enjoys being close, if you’re looking for a dog who wants to be with you, Randy is your guy.He has been around my almost-5-year-old son and has done wonderfully. He’s patient and kind, but like many dogs, appreciates calm energy and clear boundaries. One of Randy’s favorite things is burrowing under blankets, he loves to snuggle in close and will happily stick to you like glue once he feels comfortable. He’s very much a “wherever you go, I go” type of dog and thrives on companionship.Randy does best in a home where he can feel secure, loved, and included as part of the family. He would be an excellent fit for someone looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who enjoys closeness, comfort, and a predictable routine. If you’re looking for a dog who will curl up next to you, follow you from room to room, and become a true best friend, Randy may be the perfect match.Randy is a 6 year old, 10 pounds who came rat terrier/chi mix who came to us from Louisiana.Available dogs are met by pre-approved adopters ONLY after a match is made. Story
Millie is such a cutie and does so great with humans-she will literally leap in to your arms! She does however have a great dislike of other canines and will vocalize her displeasure and can get snippy with other dogs and so must not be in a home with another dog around. People are great! She does love to go in the car and her fosters take her along everywhere which is awesome! Millie does have a rather significant collapse in her airway system so cannot ever be put under anesthesia so will need to remain intact. She also cannot wear a collar but is kept in a harness instead. She can live a long, happy life as long as her new people understand that her acitivy level definitely needs to be monitored-but she is great with kids and would make a great family pet as long as their are no other dogs around!February 6, 2026, 5:54 pm
