  Danica is a small little Toy Fox Terrier with a tender heart and a deep desire to feel safe again. This 2 year old girl who weighs just 9 pounds, was found running scared and lost through a rough neighborhood in rural Tennessee and when no one came forward to claim her, it became clear she was meant to start a new chapter—one where security and love are a given, not a question.    She is the definition of a Velcro baby. Danica wants to be right beside her person, soaking up every moment of closeness she can get. Your lap, your side, the spot right at your feet—that’s where she’s happiest. She does well with cats and seems comfortable around other dogs, but her true favorite will always be her human. Danica is incredibly sweet, a little clingy, and completely honest about her need for reassurance. After the trauma of being lost and the abandonment she’s experienced, who could blame her? She is fully potty trained and thrives when she can form a strong bond with someone who enjoys snuggles, quiet companionship, and being deeply loved. We are sad that due to medical and other lifestyle changes in our lives; we are no longer able to take care of her.Lottie is about 10-11 years old and a healthy 18#. She would love to have a mature family that loves the easy life. She is very affectionate and loves being on your lap or carried around—she fully embraces her inner diva. She does well with other dogs of all sizes, though she is definitely the dominant dog and prefers companions who respect her leadership. She's definitely a boss babe. She is not a fan of cats and she does enjoy a good chicken chase.Lupita is very playful with medium energy—she enjoys enthusiastic playtime followed by immediate, contented naps once her person sits down. She may even tell you when it's time for you to sit down! She tends to pick her person and becomes deeply devoted, while politely tolerating others.She is best suited for a home without young children and would do best with adults or older children who understand dog boundaries.Lupita is house trained (only a couple accidents when we didn't understand her signals), sleeps quietly through the night snuggled in bed, and does not need (or like) a crate. She is well-behaved when left alone for short periods, but she is still a puppy so there is a need to keep her toy box stuffed so she chews on those things you want her to chew on. Millie is such a cutie and does so great with humans-she will literally leap in to your arms! She does however have a great dislike of other canines and will vocalize her displeasure and can get snippy with other dogs and so must not be in a home with another dog around. People are great! She does love to go in the car and her fosters take her along everywhere which is awesome! Millie does have a rather significant collapse in her airway system so cannot ever be put under anesthesia so will need to remain intact. She also cannot wear a collar but is kept in a harness instead. She can live a long, happy life as long as her new people understand that her acitivy level definitely needs to be monitored-but she is great with kids and would make a great family pet as long as their are no other dogs around!January 7, 2026, 4:33 pm
