Meet Annie, a charming Rat Terrier/Dachshund mix with a big personality packed into a petite package! At approximately 4 years old, Annie is equal parts adorable and endearing, especially with her unique ears. Some days both are flopped down, and other days one stands proudly at attention, giving her an irresistibly expressive look. Annie is a sweet little snuggle bug who is searching for a forever family to love with her whole heart. She thrives on affection and enjoys being close to her people, making her the perfect companion for cozy evenings and lazy weekend mornings. This lovable girl gets along wonderfully with other dogs, although she definitely likes to be the one calling the shots and leading the pack whenever possible. Annie also adores people of all ages. Because of her small size and desire for respectful interactions, a home with children ages 12 and older is recommended. Annie is still learning a few new life skills. She has never been walked on a leash before coming to rescue, so it's currently a work in progress. She's also working on crate training and showing great potential with patience, consistency, and positive encouragement. We got Bluey from a retired breeder, so he does come with papers. When he was born, his umbilical cord wrapped around his leg and his mother chewed it off unintentionally. That has not slowed him down! He is great with smaller and bigger dogs. He enjoys indoor life but also loves hanging out in the backyard getting some sun. He is skilled at hunting and catching vermin. We do not recommend him for homes with chickens/chicken coop/chicken runs as he will break in. That said, he is very adaptable and sweet, both on an adventure or lounging around. Meet Bluey today!
