Peter aka Pedro  is a  2 yr old male Terrier (maybe some rat terrier....who knows) about 12 lb .  He is a semi energetic dog that love humans and likes other dogs his size (esp his Chi foster brother s/sisters) and LOVES humans (esp snuggling on human couch or human bed). He is part of a bonded pair with his Yorkie mix brother Micah.  He loves dog beds, doggie blankets, dog harnesses and clothes. He is a great companion for active person or just retired couple with a securely fenced yard that like small dogs..    He will be okay with small dog polite children (over 8 yrs of age) or no children.  Small dog experience is recommended. He is an indoor dog.  He likes walks and car rides   L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with  rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Meet Mr. Red Mr. Red is a 3-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing in at about 18 pounds of pure love and personality. This handsome little guy may be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but give him a little patience, kindness, and time, and you will gain the most loyal sidekick imaginable. Once Mr. Red bonds with his person, he is incredibly loving, affectionate, and cuddly. He loves going for walks, enjoys playtime, and is happiest simply being near his people. He truly blossoms in a calm, loving environment where he feels safe and understood. Mr. Red would do wonderfully in a home with another friendly dog around his size to help build his confidence and share in the fun. Because he takes a little time to warm up, we feel older children would be the best fit, as they tend to understand the importance of patience and gentle interactions. This sweet boy is looking for someone willing to give him the love and understanding he deserves. In return, you’ll gain a faithful companion who will stick by your side through it all.
