Turtle has been a part of our family since he was just a few weeks old. He is about 3 years old. We are moving and are not able to take him. He would do really well with a single owner or adult owners. He is fine with kids over 9, but doesn’t like young children. Please feel free to reach out if you are interested

Story
This little guy has some serious main-character features. First, there are his ears. We are not entirely convinced Sebastian’s ears are not secretly satellite dishes. They are adorable, expressive and somehow always seem to be listening to absolutely everything. He looks like someone designed the cutest little tricolor dog possible and then added a few extra-special details just for fun. Go watch Sebastian Goodfellow | Those Ears, That Charm on YouTube and prepare to fall in love with those ears—and then discover that his personality is somehow even more lovable. https://youtu.be/ftW0Djv9xio Sebastian is approximately six years old, weighs around 22 pounds and we believe he may be a Chihuahua/Terrier mix. With rescue dogs, breed and age are always our best guesses rather than guarantees. Whatever may be in his family tree, Sebastian landed at a perfect small-medium size with an enormous amount of charm packed into him. Sebastian has a wonderful, easy confidence. He navigates new situations beautifully and meets other dogs with calm, polite social skills. He has done well with dogs his size, smaller dogs and dogs considerably larger than him. Whether the dogs around him are playing, running or simply relaxing, Sebastian is perfectly content sharing the space and going about his business. He could comfortably live with canine companions, but he does not need another dog in his home. His heart throbs for people. He was also wonderful when he met our house cat. Sebastian remained polite and composed, giving us every reason to believe he could be a good match for a home with a dog-savvy feline friend and proper introductions. One of our favorite things about Sebastian is how quickly people fall in love with him. He is friendly and deeply affectionate, but never demanding about it. He will happily snuggle up beside you when affection is available, but if you look busy, he is just as content curling up on the other side of the couch and keeping you company. He has an easy, happy presence that makes him feel at home almost immediately. Sebastian is house trained, crate trained and has been a wonderful little houseguest. He walks beautifully on leash and would make an excellent sidekick for neighborhood strolls and everyday outings. He also enjoys treats and takes them with the softest, gentlest mouth. The best thing about Sebastian is, hands down, his personality. He is lively, affectionate, a little goofy and equipped with just the right amount of spunk. He has a way of making ordinary moments more entertaining simply because he is there, whether he is trotting through the house, carrying a toy or supervising the room with those highly advanced ears. At approximately six years old, Sebastian offers a particularly lovely balance. He is happy and curious, with plenty of personality and enthusiasm, but he also knows how to settle down and enjoy a peaceful afternoon on the couch. He is confident without being over the top, affectionate without being needy and social without requiring constant entertainment. Sebastian Goodfellow is simply a really solid, all-around wonderful dog. He meets the world with good manners, a happy spirit and the kind of effortless charm that makes him easy to love. Whether he joins a home with other animals or becomes someone’s one-and-only sidekick, Sebastian is ready to fit right in. We are happy to help determine whether Sebastian could be the right match for your household. Apply to adopt Sebastian Goodfellow and come meet the little dog with the unforgettable ears and an even more lovable heart. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
**Meet Franco! 💙** Franco is a soulful little dog who only needs a few minutes to become your very best friend. He’ll run right up to you, lean in close, look up at you with his big, soulful eyes, and then simply sink into your side. This boy loves everyone! And with his long, lovable body, he is practically made for cuddling. But don’t let that couch-cuddler reputation fool you—Franco has plenty of playful energy, too! He loves running around and playing with his dog friends. Every now and then, he’ll pause the fun to stop by for a wet kiss and a quick cuddle, but before you know it, he’s off to play some more. Want to see Franco in action? Watch his video at the link here, then come right back to learn more about this wonderful boy! https://youtube.com/shorts/LUPBl-pe-SY?feature=share Franco is currently fostered in a home with several other dogs, and he has proven to be a wonderful little housemate. He has settled into home life beautifully and is beginning to learn his potty-training routine. He has no trouble having his collar and leash put on before heading out for one of his favorite activities—a nice walk! Franco has a gentle, easygoing nature that makes spending time with him feel effortless. Whether you're heading out for an adventure, taking a leisurely walk, playing in the yard, or simply relaxing on the couch, Franco is happy to be right there with you. He is also a wonderful fit for a family with kids. He enjoys being part of the family action and is happy to play with toys, go for walks, snuggle up, or simply join in whatever everyone else is doing. Franco has the kind of personality that makes him an easy addition to a busy, loving household. At the end of the day, Franco would love a family who appreciates **both sides of his personality**—the playful pup who loves to run and romp and the sweet, soulful boy who just wants to curl up beside his people. If Franco sounds like the perfect fit for your family, we’d love for you to meet him! Please complete an adoption application using the link below, and reach out to his adoption coordinator with any questions. 💙 Apply here: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6a8e34171085f0d62004e87b Questions? Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. The 4 ‘M’ Puppies came to us from a neighbor down the street. An elderly man had these 4 pups dropped on his property and he didn’t know what to do with them. He approached a neighbor that he knew to do rescue but she, too, was having her own problems with too many dogs and she approached me. They were already 3 ½ mos old. (We gave them a DOB of 2/15/26.) We took them in and started shots, neutering and TLC. I see 2 puppies with one father and 2 puppies with another father. I did a phone scan for breed-types and came out with varying suggestions so as we list each one, I will list the differences. MU SHU-Possibly a mixture of Jack Russell, Rat Terrier, and Beagle. She is currently 6 mos old and weighs 16#. I expect her to be 25# when grown. She is a happy puppy that loves to jump in the water and go up to her neck. She plays with all the toys and, of course, loves the other puppies. She loves to play with all the toys and loves the water tub. It is quite hot right now in Texas…so they all love the water. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You will receive the dog's folder with all the printouts proving the medical treatments received. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." Adoption Fee: Includes all of the vetting and transportation. If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you will have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog.
