Story
Sprite is a 11 month old heeler/rat terrier mix. She loves to be with people and other dogs. She’s crate trained and house broken. She’s a very smart girl and picked up the “touch” (booping her nose in the palm of your hand) command in a single weekend. She went through a 2 week board and train program with Off Leash K9 and knows sit, down, place, come, off commands. She has good recall when off leash and can be trusted off leash in hiking areas, I would not do off leash in city type environments. Sprite can be a nervous girl so shes shy in new or loud environments but has never reacted out of fear, she just becomes very timid. She can be destructive to a normal curious puppy amount if left alone so crating her is the best option. But she does well in the crate for even 8-10 hours. She gets along perfectly with other dogs, especially big dogs that she can rough house with, and well with cats and chickens. She loves kids too. She’s a great girl and it’s devastating to have to lose her.

Story
Meet Binky! Oh this girl is so special! Binky arrived with us after being rescued from a cage in a breeder's backyard. That cage was all she had ever known so she was quite shut down at first. Over the past few months in our care, she has learned that humans are kind, walks are fun and life can be pretty great.  Binky is still quite timid and easily startled but she is the most gentle and kind girl. She loves affection and will gently paw you to keep the pets going. She likes to be close to you and does not love too much alone time, but she can also just comfortably snooze on the couch while you are working. She does not chew things inappropriately and is quite well potty trained. She will do best in a more quiet residential area. She may get a bit spooked in very busy or noisy areas.  Binky gets along with other dogs but does not really know how to play with them. She prefers that they don't get in her face and then she will happily co-exist. She is best in a home with older kids (over 10 only) because younger kids may startle her with sudden movements. She is not suitable for a home with cats. Our entire team adores Binky. She is the sweetest girl and deserves a loving home of her own. She is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450  We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! MUST LOVE KISSES — because Gigi certainly does! She is a proud face-licker and believes affection should be shared enthusiastically. She loves being held in your lap and gives the sweetest hugs, snuggling her little body right into your chest as if she’s trying to melt into safety. At just 7 months old, Gigi has already experienced more uncertainty than any puppy should. She was first abandoned in a rental unit, and then heartbreakingly left behind again when a family who promised to pick her up never came. Scared and searching for someone to love her, Gigi found her way into our PAWS GH family.Despite her rough start, Gigi’s heart is wide open. She is a certified cuddle bugThe world still feels big and a little overwhelming to her. Gigi is looking for a patient, loving home that will guide her gently and help her build confidence. With reassurance and kindness, she will blossom into the devoted, joyful companion she’s meant to be.If you have room in your heart (and don’t mind puppy kisses), Gigi is ready to love you with everything she has. 💗Please apply to adopt at: http://www.pawsgh.org

Story
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. To see more pictures and some videos of this dog, please visit our Facebook page and look under “photos” and then “albums”. 1 yr old, female, Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix, about 18 pounds. This girl just wants to have fun! She is a bit higher energy and would love room to move and a friend that matches her energy (or someone willing to play with her)! She currently lives with 4 other dogs, a cat, chickens, pigs, budgies, and a bearded dragon. She’d do best with a dog savvy cat and further training with other animals cause she will want to play with them. She’s not what I’d call a lapdog, but loves to please, and is affectionate. Definitely trainable and pretty darn smart. She is a follower and will take behavioral cues from the other dogs she lives with. She’s working on not jumping up and not being reactive to people/noises at home (she’s not reactive on walks or in public). She goes into her crate with treats. Walks well on a leash and we’re working on gaining confidence on walks. She’s young, spunky and worth it! To request an adoption application, email smidgetrescue@hotmail.com Adoption contract and fee applies. All adoptable dogs can be met at adoption events hosted every weekend. APPLICATIONS CAN BE OBTAINED BY EMAIL ONLY. Adoption process includes application, meet & greet, home visit and reference check. Story
Hi. Im Genessa of the Regrettes. Have you heard of our band? I'm lead vocals! Im a 3-month-old terrier mix with bright eyes and just enough attitude to start a garage band in your living room. If youve ever listened to us, you already get the vibe: big presences, zero interest in being ignored! I wake up ready to take on the world. Breakfast? Punk rock. Toys? Punk rock. Your shoelaces? Also punk rock. I am bold, curious, and convinced everything is an opportunity. Of course it is, life is fun!! But heres the twist- under the spunky frontwoman energy, Im still a baby. A snuggly, learning-the-ropes, sometimes-overstimulated little nugget who needs: consistency structure patient humans naps (so many naps) At three months old, Im still working on the basics. Potty training? In progress. Crate training? Learning. Leash skills? Lets call it interpretive dance for now ;) Im social and playful with other dogs, especially ones who appreciate a little sass. I love people and will happily bounce toward new friends like Ive been booked to headline their house. My ideal home? Someone who laughs at the chaos, commits to training, and understands that confident girls still need guidance. Im smart- terrier smart- which means if you teach me, I will absolutely learn. If you dontI will absolutely invent my own rules! Im not here to be background music. Im here to be your tiny riot, your couch-cuddling rebel, your loyal little frontwoman. Ready to start a band together? Hit me up! Please visit our website www.motleyzoorescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Olive is an adorable, loving, and amusing little lap dog that needs more attention than we can provide in our already busy and full house. She only barks when she needs to be let out to potty. She is a great dog and gets along with my cats and other dogs perfectly.
