Story
Xander is loving, and loyal, the very best cuddler and adventure buddy! He loves going on hikes and road trips, and learning new things. We are seeking to rehome him because as a busy family with social young adults and cats his need for management around strangers (and the cats!) puts an unfair stress on all of us. His ideal home would be one that enjoys training: tricks, scent work, cooperative care, etc. and doesn’t have too many strangers coming and going from the house. He bonds deeply and loves unconditionally. He is extremely emotionally attuned and naturally alerts me when I’m becoming anxious. Veterinary care is up to date. Xander has Addison’s Disease which requires life long daily medication, a monthly injection, and twice per year labs. He has reactivity to people and dogs which is manageable due to his size and training. He has snapped and nipped at people with the triggers being guarding his “person” and handling sensitivities. No one has ever been harmed

Story
Tennessee is 12 years young. She loves hike walks, going for car drives, snuggling, playing with fluffy little toys, she can still jump 3 feet up in the air when she is excited, crosses a field super fast, and enjoys getting anything that is small and hairy. (Mice, rats, bunnies... hence why she is not good with cats but she has had cats put her in her place! ). She is starting to go blind but that hasn't stopped her from being the active, playful, loving dog she is and this breed can live up to 18 years if well taken care of! She is still going strong and needs her last forever home!

Story
Macy is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so she is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. Macy looks like a rat terrier. We are guessing she is around 3 years of age and she weighs 15 pounds. As expected, she was a bit leery of the other dogs at first but now she is just as happy and playful as she can be. Macy is very affectionate and loves attention and pets. She likes to sit next to you on the couch and grumbles at the other dogs to keep them away so she can have all the attention. This is a bad habit and should not be encouraged. Macy is crate-trained and well-behaved in the house. She likes to roll herself up in a blanket when sleeping. Macy is getting chubby after her spay and her new family needs to take her on walks to lose weight. Macy is doing well with housetraining but may need more work. Because Macy is small, she must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that could hurt her. She must also be protected from raptors and other outdoor predators. Macy must be an inside dog and a loved member of the family. To avoid injury, she will need steps to get on and off the couch and other furniture. Macy must be walked on a leash and would like a secure, fenced yard to run and play. Macy is healthy. She is spayed and tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. She is negative for heartworms and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. ALL transport costs are included in the adoption fee with delivery to Vancouver WA. Macy is currently located in Texas and cannot be transported until after she is adopted. Please send an email to 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this little sweet girl. Story
Phoebe is a sweet, loving, smart and playful 4-year-old "puppy" who loves to cuddle with her humans. She is very active and needs more exercise than her current owner (who has serious health issues and needs to move) is able to give her. She learns quickly, and may need some reminders on house breaking at first. She is really a delight to have around, but as a terrier, she does tend to be high strung. She has some separation anxiety and will sometimes whine for a bit when left alone, but will generally stop after a few minutes. She comes with a crate that she sees as her safe place. She has always been left loose in the home when left alone without her causing any damage. She gets along fine with other dogs, but SHE DOES NOT LIKE CATS! Whoever adopts her will be very lucky to have her as a loyal and loving companion.
