Story
Molly is the mother of Lottie, Dottie, Tayto, Cricket, Pickles, and Ducky, plus a newer litter currently in foster. All of these dogs were rescued from a hoarding situation. We were able to bring Molly, Lottie, Dottie, and the newer litter into our care a little while ago. Somewhere along the way, Tayto, Cricket, Pickles, and Ducky ended up dumped on Franklin Mountain, and we rescued them from that too. As sweet as this family is, they have a lot of rehabilitation ahead of them. They are safe now and getting loved up every single day 💌 Why You'll Love Them: Gorgeous coonhound mixes with huge hearts, they just need some time with the CPR treatment before they are ready for new homes. Watching them learn what safety and comfort feel like for the first time is something special

🐾 Meet Dottie 🖤🐾 ✨ Fast Facts: 🐶 Name: Dottie 🎂 Age: 9 months (born approximately 11/1/2025) ⚖️ Weight: Medium breed (25-59 lbs) 🧬 Breed: Coonhound/Redbone Mix 🚹 Gender: Female 📅 Intake Date: 07/11/2026 🏠 Rehoming Donation: $300 🐶 Personality: Sweet but shy, still learning to trust 🏡 Perfect Home: A calm, patient household ready to help her come out of her shell 🐕 Compatibility: 🐶 Dogs: [TBD] 🐱 Cats: [TBD] 👧 Kids: [TBD] 🧠 Behavior & Training Notes: Dottie has not been socialized and is understandably scared of a lot of things. It appears she and her siblings never left the home they came from, so everyday sights and sounds are all brand new and a little overwhelming. She will need patience and gentle encouragement as she learns the ropes 🩺 Health: Fully vetted and spayed, healthy and ready to go 📖 Dottie's Story: Dottie came to us from a hoarding situation along with her mom, Molly, and five siblings, plus a second litter of six pups. She and her siblings haven't been socialized much and are pretty nervous as a result, but they are truly nice dogs underneath the fear. Since they apparently never went outside the home they came from, everything in the world is new and a little scary right now. The good news is Dottie is fully vetted and ready to start becoming a real part of someone's family 💌 Why You'll Love Dottie: She is gentle, sweet, and just needs someone willing to show her that the world can be a safe and good place 👉 Ready to meet Dottie?
