This is Lacy, she is approx 6 years old, walks great on a leash with a harness, up to date on shots, barely barks. She loves car rides and plushy toys She gets along with other dogs outside but needs to be the only dog at home. She is being fostered in Beachwood, NJ but doesn't have long with her current foster. Her family had to move and couldn't take her with them, with no fault of Lacy. She would love a forever home.

Story
Poor Rudi the Redbone Hound Mix was saved from imminent euthanasia at a high kill NC shelter only to find himself stuck in boarding, spending most of his time in a crate when all he really wants to be doing is using his hound nose to explore. He is a big floppy dopey (but very intelligent) kind of guy that is of moderate energy, and even though he is a sizable boy, he walks well on the leash. He’s just happy to even BE out walking with someone! He is good with dogs of all sizes; he’ll even wrestle around for a few minutes and then prefers to just explore. Generally speaking, he is comfortable in any dog pack dynamic. He has not yet been tested with Cats, but he can be if needed. He is gentle around children and has even lived in a Temp Foster home with toddlers and infants. Now that he’s essentially “stuck” being crated many hours a day, we are desperately seeking either a foster or adoptive home for him where he can just be a companion dog that will go on long walks with you, and then come home and cuddle up on the couch with you and watch a good movie. He definitely wants to please his person and he’s a smart boy who learns quickly. Also, considering he is a hound, he’s not much of a barker which is a bonus! “Deteriorating in boarding” essentially means that a dog will start to exhibit symptoms of anxiety and potentially start to self mutilate (chewing their paws and other spots, etc.) so we really would like to get him out before that happens! Please - if you would like to learn more or possibly meet this boy or can help in anyway, please call/text Aly at 732-604-0625 ASAP! Thank you for caring about a pet in need.

Story
Meet Yankee, a 1-year old, 38-pound Redbone Coonhound mix who has a heart of gold and a zest for life! This handsome, copper-colored boy is friendly with absolutely everyone - - kids, adults, the elderly, and other dogs. He the kind of dude who walks into a room and makes instant friends with his wagging tail and warm eyes. Yankee loves being outside and is happiest when he’s part of the action. Whether it’s jogging alongside you, exploring the neighborhood, or joining in a game of softball at the park, he’s always up for adventure. He’s playful and athletic, but also easy-going and well-mannered - - the perfect mix of fun and affection. When the day winds down, Yankee turns into a total cuddle-bug. He’ll happily curl up at your feet or snuggle next to you on the couch, and he’s super generous with kisses. He thrives on companionship and appreciates being included in family life, but he’s not demanding - - just grateful to be near his people. Yankee has been working on his house breaking skills and leash manners, making progress in both areas. He knows to potty in the backyard and is learning to relieve himself during walks as well. Highly treat motivated and eager to please, it won’t take long to fully housebreak this clever fella. Yankee would do well in just about any active, loving home, with or without other dogs, with or without kids. He can be a teeny bit clingy, but as his confidence grows, he will surely learn to become more independent. Between his sweet personality and his irresistible charm, Yankee is the kind of dog who will quickly steal your heart and fill your days with joy!
