🚨💔 URGENT — DELLA IS ONLY 5 MONTHS OLD AND HER LIFE IS ALREADY AT RISK 💔🚨 Della is just a baby. At only 5 months old and 27 lbs, she has already experienced more fear and uncertainty than any puppy ever should. She came from a home where she was living in unsanitary conditions, and now everything around her is unfamiliar and frightening. She doesn’t understand what happened or why she’s here. She only knows that the world hasn’t shown her yet that she can feel safe. 😭 But underneath that frightened little girl is a sweet, gentle puppy with so much potential. ❤️ Della is DOG FRIENDLY and just needs patience, kindness, and someone willing to show her that human hands can be gentle and that a home can be filled with love. She hasn’t even had the chance to grow up. 💔 And now she could lose her life before she ever gets to experience what being someone’s beloved dog feels like. 🐾 DELLA 💕 5 months old 💕 27 lbs 💕 Dog friendly 💕 Sweet baby girl 💕 Hound mix 🚨 PLEASE — DON’T LET DELLA’S STORY END IN A SHELTER AT ONLY 5 MONTHS OLD. SHE DESERVES THE CHANCE TO GROW UP. 🚨 PLEASE HELP TEXT KAREN 4136298152

Story
Annie sat scared and helpless in a Kentucky shelter, overlooked by potential adopters because she was so scared and shutdown from the world. Rogers Rescues gave her a second chance a life outside of the shelter and her foster home has watched her blossom. Annie has learned the joy of soft dog beds, the joy of dog bones, the sheer pleasure of running with abandon in the backyard with a ball in her mouth. Best of all, she has access to a toy bin full of stuffed toys, which she absolutely ADORES! She thoroughly enjoys the companionship of her foster siblings and has even started engaging in play with them. We do think she will best thrive in a home with another dog to help her continue to build her confidence and mentor her in everything dog. She knows to go potty outside, loves her crate, and happily snoozes the day away in a dog bed or curled up on the couch. Despite being a coonhound which has a reputation for being loud, she is a very quiet girl, rarely barking. But being a coonhound, she does want to chase and flush any critters brave enough to venture into the yard. One of her very favorite things to do is go for a walk. If you hold up the harness and leash, she immediately runs over to you and patiently sits and waits for you to put it on her. She walks very well on a leash and goes on daily walks with the other dogs in the house. Watching Annie settle in and learn that the world is not a scary place has been so heartwarming. She has so much love to give and is truly a special girl. Please note that although she has come a long way from the terrified shelter dog, loud, unfamiliar noises will still startle her and make her nervous. Given her timid nature, we do think she will do better in a more residential environment. Please consider giving Annie the home she truly deservesone that will spoil her rotten with couch cuddles, squishy beds, long walks, and stuffy toys galore. Any interested adopters must be willing to drive to meet her in person in Bethlehem, PA. If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our application. Meetings will not be scheduled without an application. Please visit our website www.rogersrescues.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

Story
Meet Corky! Corky is an almost 4 year old, approximately 40 pound Coon Hound mix pup, who is full of love, and always happy to meet other dogs and people, and eager to play and cuddle. He is great with children, dog friendly both in the home and on walks, and crate trained. A perfect day for this sweet, handsome boy includes exercise outside, lots of squeaky and chewy toys, play time, and lots of cuddles. Corky's superpowers include being very intelligent, a fast learner, full body tail wagging, and clearly has mastered "puppy eyes. He responds very well to positive reinforcement and is comfortable at home being a part of your daily activities, or playing with the resident dog. Some of Corky's favorite things are his rope toy, squeaky balls and squirrel, and his dog puzzles. If you're looking for a super sweet, lovable, medium size dog who is great with children and will climb into your lap when it's time to chill and cuddle, Corky will make the perfect companion and family member! Corky is currently being fostered in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. His adoption fee is $425. All of our animals come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and Bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Meet Gunner – The Little Hound Boy Who Believes Life Is One Big AdventureSome puppies are shy. Some are cautious. And then there's Gunner...the puppy who wakes up every morning convinced that today is going to be the best day ever.Born on May 22nd to a beautiful Redbone Hound mix mama who lovingly raised an amazing litter of 12 puppies, Gunner has inherited all of the best qualities from his sweet mom—his gentle nature, his intelligence, those irresistible floppy hound ears, and a heart that has never met a stranger. At just 12 pounds (destined to be 45 lbs as an adult), Gunner is already the life of the party. He has one of those carefree, happy-go-lucky personalities that makes people smile the moment they meet him. Whether it's children running through the yard, adults relaxing on the porch, or friends stopping by for a visit, Gunner is convinced they all came just to spend time with him. He loves being wherever his people are, happily following along to see what exciting thing might happen next. This handsome little boy wears a beautiful caramel-colored coat that's as warm as his personality. His soulful eyes and oversized hound ears give him an expression that's impossible to resist, and when he curls up beside you for a nap after a busy day of playing, you'll wonder how you ever lived without him.Gunner has mastered the art of giving puppy kisses and believes cuddles should be a regular part of every day. He'll chase toys, romp around the yard, wrestle with his siblings, and then happily settle down beside you, soaking up every bit of affection you have to give. His favorite place is simply wherever his family is.Now, there is one thing you should know about this sweet boy...if everyone else is having fun and Gunner gets left out, he'll make sure his opinion is heard! Thanks to those strong hound genes, he has the cutest little voice and isn't afraid to use it if he thinks he's missing out on the action. It's less of a bark and more of an adorable reminder that he fully intends to be included in every family adventure.Like every young puppy, Gunner is learning all about crate training, potty training, and becoming the wonderful companion he's destined to be. He's smart, eager to learn, and has the kind of loving, adaptable personality that will fit beautifully into an active family or with someone looking for a loyal best friend. If you've been hoping to find a puppy who will make you laugh, cover you in kisses, keep you company on every adventure, and remind you every single day to enjoy life's simple moments, Gunner may just be your perfect match. He's ready now to begin the greatest adventure of all—a lifetime with the family he's been waiting for. Could that be you?  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are the ONE for Gunner. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comAugust 31, 2026, 11:42 am
