Rescue puppy I have been taking care of and trying to find a good home for. She is housebroken, great with her training and on a leash, and very social with people and other dogs. I have covered all of her vet care; she is healthy, UTD on everything, and spayed. She has has solid build and great instincts and will make a wonderful pet.

BOUT ME: Hi! My name is MiMi, and I am looking for a forever home! My ideal home will be a single person or a couple, with no children, cats, or other animals. I am about 9 years old, a gorgeous redhead, and medium-sized. They say I have oodles of personality. I love going for walks and dressing up in my coats. I am very talkative once I know you. I enjoy going on car rides but will need a seatbelt or crate because I like to sit on laps when driving. When Ms. Bekki rescued me, I had a huge hematoma in my ear, skinny and heartworm positive, and growth on my back. But no worries! Ms. Bekki made sure I was taken care of! The ear that had the hematoma now flops over, but it’s healthy now! I was treated for heartworms and on monthly heartworm preventative. The growth on my back was removed and come to find out it was caused by a flea allergy, but I don’t have fleas anymore! YEAH!!! And I am a healthy weight thanks to daily meals and snacks! I do love my Nudges! I can’t wait to meet my forever hoomans! ##1378491##

Story
Hello there! I'm Indiana Jones, a lively 4-month-old neutered male Redbone Coonhound, and I'm ready to embark on my next big adventure with a loving family like yours! They tell me I'm named after a famous adventurer, and I think that fits me perfectly because I'm always up for exploring and trying new things. I absolutely love playing with other dogs, so having a canine friend at my new home would be fantastic. I'm a pro when it comes to walking on a leash, and I really enjoy our strolls together. Sometimes, I even get into a game of fetch, although I'm just as happy exploring as I am chasing balls. My favorite treats are Milk Bones, and I'm very well-behaved when it's time to kennel up. This means I'd do well in an apartment or a house-just as long as I have a bit of space to stretch my legs and some loving humans to spend time with. One of my best traits is that I'm a big cuddle bug who loves giving and receiving hugs. I'm always wearing a big, happy smile, especially when I'm snuggled up close with my favorite people. If you're looking for a sweet, playful, and affectionate companion, look no further-I'm right here waiting for you! Let's meet and start our adventure together!

Story
Hi there! My name is Andy! I am a 4-month-old(as of 4/10/2024) Redbone Coonhound who weighs 22lbs. I am currently in a foster home after my foster mom found me in a crowded shelter and couldn't help but fall in love with my sweet face. I am hoping to find my FURever home soon, could that be you? I love to play with my canine foster siblings in the home. I am very curious about cats but not in a negative way. I am very much a puppy so I will need a family with the time and patience to help me become the best doggy I can be. I am a very smart boy that is willing to learn under the right guidance. I have adapted to a set schedule very well and making progress with leash training! I would love to find a person or family to call my own! If you are interested in making me part of your family, please complete an adoption application located here: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society. LHS volunteer will be in touch within 48 hours via email.   We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Story
Meet Boone! This gentle 8 year old giants owner passed away and now he is looking for his new forever home. Boone is a true blood hound, he is curious and loves his walks so he can sniff out all of the neighborhood critters. He is a little shy with new people and does not care for loud noises. He likes his doggie friends, but does not like to share his food or bowl when it's chow time. Boone is potty trained, but does not care for a crate. He loves his people and will be a loyal companion who will follow you around the house. In true blood hound fashion his new owner will need embrace his slobber like a badge of honor, but this is easily manageable with a fresh supply of dish towels strategically placed around your home. He also has big floppy ears that need cleaning bi-weekly, Boone takes all of this attention like a champ. Boone is also great at letting you know if someone has come to visit your front door. Boone would do best with someone who can be home during the day to give him attention or someone who can visit at lunch. He does well with others dogs after an introduction, but will let them know who is in charge. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Nyla joined our family 4 years ago. She was found in the back corner of a PetsMart on free adoption day. Oh what joy and blessing she has been. Nyla does everything with 100% passion! She LOVES anybody she meets and wants to cuddle with her whole body weight! Some of Nyla's favorite things are cuddles, ice cubes (her favorite and FREE treat), walks, and using her superior instinctual skills to hunt squirrels in the backyard (even though she's never quite caught one yet). Nyla would flourish in a home where she has space to run around, kids to play with, and parents who are okay with her passionate bursts of love and affection. Nyla is potty trained, knows how to sit and lay down and shake, and is able to be home alone for long stretches. We are having to rehome Nyla because we just welcomed our first baby girl into the world and we are unable to care for both well. You will never meet a happier and loving dog than Nyla. If you give her a chance she will give 100% of herself :)
