Meet Winston  Winston is a 4-month-old Coonhound mix with a happy, outgoing personality and all the goofy fun you’d expect from a puppy! He’s super friendly, loves people, and despite being a busy little guy, he’s always happy to be scooped up and held for some love. Winston’s favorite activities include running around with dogs of all sizes, playing tug-of-war, and enthusiastically destroying stuffed toys.  If there’s a plush toy with stuffing inside, Winston considers it a personal challenge. He’s also very food motivated, which makes training this smart boy even easier! He’s already learning sit, come, shake, and wait and is doing great with leash training. Why you’ll love Winston: Super friendly and outgoing Loves being held Great with kids of all ages Loves dogs of all sizes Tug-of-war enthusiast Expert stuffed-toy destroyer  Very food motivated and eager to learn Doing great with leash training Learning several commands Crate trained Almost completely potty trained Winston is doing fantastic with potty training and is almost completely there! If he can’t get outside when he needs to go, he knows to use a puppy pad instead. He’s also already crate trained. At just 4 months old, Winston is still young enough to adapt beautifully to a variety of homes. With proper introductions, continued socialization, and positive experiences, he should adjust well to a home with dogs, cats, kids, or all of the above. Story
Clifford, a handsome BIG RED DOG, is a Redbone Coonhound mix. His good looks turns heads!! He's about 2 years old and weighs 70 pounds. He is neutered, utd on vaccinations, HW negative, on preventatives and microchipped! Clifford is a little fearful when meeting new people but once he learns to trust he will be your best friend! He was a dumped stray so we don't know anything about his past. We do know that if his forever family has the patience to help him conquer his rears, he will reward them with his true goofy personality that loves to play, get treats and scratches behind his ears. Clifford would be fine as your only dog or would benefit from having a confident dog his size or bigger to play with. Sturdy, older children would be great too! Clifford is house and crate trained too! His adoption fee covers a trainer to help with his transition into his new home. A fenced yard (appropriate for his size) and vet a reference are required. We adopt in the DFW area only (within 1 hour's drive from Terrell) as we deliver our dogs to their new homes. You can apply here: https://www.terrellanimalalliance.org/application

Story
Allow me to introduce Edgar who I fondly call “Ole Dan.” He is a gorgeous red young boy. He is so sweet and loves to please. Dan would much rather act like a lap dog or sleep on the bed with you! As an old puppy / young boy, he is very well behaved. The exception would be his drive to explore so a good fence is a must. He loves water, tummy rubs, does not believe bunnies should be in his yard, and prefers you being home. This boy is not really food driven but does appreciate a nice treat. For his age, he is awesome and should turn into an excellent adult boy with a little more time and training. Falling for Edgar! retrieveafriend.org/adoptVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 29, 2026, 11:08 am
