Everybody, meet Dolly! Dolly is a 5.5-year old, Redbone-Coonhound. Dolly is a curious and bouncy coonhound that loves to cuddle and play with her doggy friends. Dolly loves to spend time outside taking in the sights and smells; and of course, like any good hound, chuffing at the wildlife that dare cross her line of sight. When the sun goes down, though, she wants nothing more than to cuddle up on the couch or in bed with her people. She's a very adventurous eater, too- you can't let her in your garden if you hope to have anything left to harvest! Dolly is great with other dogs, and she loves kids. Brooklyn is a sweet redbone mix. She is approx. 45 lbs. She was found near the blue ridge parkway. Come see her at the Rockbridge Spca or email manager@rockbridgespca.net. heartworm tested: Negative visit our fb page: Dogs of Rockbridge and rockbridge spca. NOTE: all animals adopted are taken straight to a local veterinarian for spay/neuter. We do adopt out of area providing adopter is will to make more than one trip. There are NO exceptions, and we do not hold animals. All Kittens and puppies must weigh 2 lbs. for surgery and there are a limited number of veterinarians in our area that will do a pediatric spay/neuter. please note the Rockbridge Spca does not have emotional support animals or service animals. we do not adopt to college students, however, they are welcome to volunteer.

Braden is the brother of Daniel, he is the most outgoing and adventuresome. He is not a hunting dog and will not be adopted out as such. Braden is 44 lbs. Sadly his owner is in bad health and had to bring him back. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.If wide open dogs fit your life style, you might be ready for this energetic and SMART boy! In fact, is he too smart for you? Loki has a big voice, and he is not afraid to use it.  We are not sure what his background has been, as there were two sides to it, and they were mutually exclusive. But what we do know is that he has big feelings when he sees other dogs, and he wants to play! He was a perfect match to Sunny this week, and we hope we can let them have time again in the playyard, since they did so well together! Slim and slight in build, we are sure now that Loki is a shepherd mix, and can only guess as to the "mix" part. He is so alive, so happy to have human friends, and he walks beautifully on leash! You would never guess it would be that way, so it has been a breath of fresh air to witness him walking with volunteers, as well as playing with Sunny.  Our hearts are bursting with happiness, indeed!  We are hoping the perfect active home will come along and we are doing all we can to promote it!
