Sunny is a 4-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier / Rhodesian Ridgeback / Black Cur mix with a big heart, a big smile, and just the right amount of goofy-boy charm. This precious boy was rescued by the brave crew at the Phoenix Fire Department after deciding sidewalks were too hot to handle. This big, goofy boy went from street wanderer to firehouse favorite faster than you can say “Code Red — cute dog on scene!”
This handsome guy is equal parts adventure buddy, couch companion, toy enthusiast, and professional good-time coordinator. He has the kind of joyful personality that makes every day feel a little lighter, a little funnier, and a lot more lovable.
Sunny is strong, silly, affectionate, and full of personality. He loves squeaky toys, walks beautifully on leash, and rides in the car like he’s headed to a very important appointment called “fun.” He’s the type of dog who can make you laugh just by existing, then melt your heart two seconds later with those big, soulful eyes.
