Scooby is a friendly, sweet-natured mixed-breed dog, approximately 1-1/2 years old, with a sleek reddish-brown coat, white chest/blaze, and white paws. His build and coloring suggest Rhodesian Ridgeback and/or Redbone Coonhound ancestry, possibly mixed with Lab or Boxer, athletic, medium-large frame, floppy ears, and an expressive curled tail. Scooby started life as a stray puppy found at a park before being taken in by a caring family. He's grown into a big, energetic, affectionate young dog who loves attention and is eager to engage with people — he lights up around visitors and enjoys treats and interaction whenever he can get it. Due to a change in his family's circumstances (his size outgrew what they're able to manage alongside other pets in the home), he's in need of a new home where he can get the space, exercise, and companionship he craves. Scooby would do best with an active family who has room to let him run and time to give him the attention he's hungry for.

Meet Bucket! Bucket is a lovable 1-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who has made an incredible transformation during his time at the shelter! This sweet boy needed a little time to decompress and discover that the world isn`t such a scary place, and now he`s ready to find a patient family who will help him continue growing into the wonderful adult dog he`s meant to be. When Bucket first arrived, he was shy and lacking confidence. He would sometimes hide under tables and shake when he felt overwhelmed. With time, patience, and support from staff, he has blossomed into a much more confident pup! These days, he`s happy to get out and explore, stays close to his favorite people, and no longer feels the need to hide. Bucket has a fun puppy personality and plenty of energy, but one of his best qualities is his ability to settle himself. After getting his zoomies out, he can often be found quietly sitting at his handler`s feet, perfectly content to hang out with his person. Bucket also enjoys other dogs! When introduced to a confident canine companion, he came completely out of his shell and had a wonderful time playing. He does have a more forward, rough-and-tumble puppy play style, so a dog-to-dog introduction is required if there`s another dog in the home to make sure everyone is a good match. Like any young dog, Bucket is still learning his manners. He`s working on things like keeping his paws on the floor and not jumping up when he`s excited or happy. He`ll thrive with an adopter who is patient, consistent, and committed to ongoing training, structure, exercise, and positive reinforcement. Because of his exuberant puppy manners, a home without young children is recommended.Bucket is a big-hearted puppy who just needs someone willing to show him the ropes of home life. He`s sweet, playful, affectionate, and ready to keep learning. Austin is a precious pup with a story that tugs at the heartstrings. Sadly left in a crate with only a bowl of water, this little trooper was rescued by compassionate individuals who brought him to us in hopes of finding him his perfect home. He was in a home briefly and was excited to become a permanent part of the family, but unfortunately the resident dog in the home did not want a new sibling and was not welcoming to poor Austin. We're told Austin is great with kids aged 9 and up and gets along well with other dogs (he's just a pup, so naturally is the case). He is a fantastic student and is making great strides in housetraining - with prompting, he knows exactly what to do! His breed is a guess, but we think with his dashing red looks, we think she has some Pit and Rhodesian Ridgeback in him! He's been vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He currently weighs a sturdy 70 lbs and his estimated date of birth is 1/23/2025. $50.00 adoption fee for this dashing guy. Meet Mister Squish himself… SYLVESTER! Just look at that face! This sweet boy has the silliest big ears, the mushiest face, and the cutest smile you could ever hope to see! His looks alone are enough to make you smile, but his personality is even better. Sylvester may come out of his kennel with some bouncy puppy energy, but give him a little time and that energy melts into an easygoing, happy-to-hang-out kind of guy. He’s perfectly content to spend his day with his humans, enjoying some attention, sniffing around, and just being part of whatever is happening. Now, about that game of fetch… Sylvester hasn’t quite figured out the whole concept yet. He’ll chase the ball almost every time, but then he stops and stares at it like he’s waiting for the ball to do something interesting. Eventually, he decides there are much more important things to investigate, like sniffing the grass! And if you happen to have treats? Well, THEN you have Sylvester’s full attention! He absolutely loves those tasty little snacks and will happily appreciate a big bowl of dinner, too! Sylvester is a big boy with a gentle heart. He loves attention and affection when it’s sweet, calm, and gentle. He isn’t looking for roughhousing or being rolled around on the ground. He’d much rather soak up some loving from his people and enjoy being close to them. He’s much the same with his doggie friends. In playgroups, Sylvester appreciates a nice, slow introduction, a quiet hello, and then maybe wandering off to smell the roses. He doesn’t need a wild party. He just wants to meet everyone politely and take things at his own pace. This boy really isn’t asking for much. He just needs someone who will appreciate his wonderfully goofy looks, his enormous ears, his squishy face, and that gentle little smile.
