Story
Guy is a sweet calm and loving dog. He was a rescue and has been a part of our family many years. He is a large dog who has been trained in the past to walk, heel. However, my parents can no longer walk him so he is either inside with the family or outside in the yard. He prefers to be inside and will scratch at the door and sit waiting to be let inside. He is a gentle dog, However this breed is territorial and although Guy has never been aggressive he will be protective of his territory and alert us. We do not want to give him up for he our sweet Guy with Nickname Scooby Doo is family. My parents had to sell and move and are aging and can’t safely walk Guy, and are now moving to condominium and it would be unfair to Guy. He is attached to us. We love him and that is why we are looking for the best and loving home for him, Our only desire is that Guy find a safe and happy home where he can have access to a yard or to an owner able to walk him. Guy is so sweet. Meet n Greet? Great Dog!

Story
WATCH MY VIDEO...Casey is the kind of dog who makes it easy to fall in love. This beautiful 3-year-old was surrendered when her family felt they no longer had the time to care for her. While they had only been together for a short time, Casey once again finds herself searching for the one thing every dog deserves: a forever home where she is truly part of the family. Her previous family described her as playful, loving, affectionate, and happiest when she`s spending time with her people. She enjoys walks, trips to the dog park, and plenty of attention. Casey is housebroken, crate trained, knows commands such as `sit,` `stay,` and `go,` and is highly food motivated, making continued training a fun and rewarding experience. Since arriving at the shelter, Casey has impressed staff and volunteers with her sweet and gentle nature. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly and soon reveals her affectionate personality. She enjoys pets, cuddles, and is generous with kisses. Once she feels comfortable, her playful side emerges, including an adorable, goofy run that never fails to make people smile. Casey is generally calm and walks fairly well on a leash, although her curious nose occasionally convinces her to follow an interesting scent. Because of this, a harness may help her stay focused during walks and adventures. Her former family reported that she does well with adults and children and would make a wonderful family companion. However, Casey enjoys chasing cats, so she will need a cat-free home. She can also be selective about other dogs, so any potential canine sibling will need to meet her first to ensure a good match. More than anything, Casey wants to be loved. She wants a family to walk beside, a couch to cuddle on, and people she can shower with affection. She has so much love to give and is simply waiting for someone willing to give that love back. Casey`s story isn`t defined by being surrendered. It`s defined by her resilience, her sweet spirit, and her hope that the next family she meets will be the one that lasts forever. Could Casey be the missing piece your family has been looking for?
