Doesnt really play with toys, likes to look out the window.I had to move into a home with my mother. Due to her illness with cancer and kidney failure.

Theo is a great boy, just has a few issues that will require a stern adopter. He is friendly with dogs and people, but due to his nature, no small children. He has been through extensive training. He knows all obedience. www.playk9resuce.org The adoption fee for this pet covers the cost of care which may have been for several weeks or several months depending on the health and other needs. The fee also covers all vet bills during this time to ensure his/her health is improved or maintained and provides you with assurance that this dog has been well cared for while in our possession and evaluated to meet your home's needs. Included in this fee is also life- long training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Bradenton, FL as well as Life time microchip registration. When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters/owners and get them adopted to their forever home.

Pistol Annie is a sweet, energetic girl who just turned 1 in April 2026. She was brought into our home by my youngest daughter and her boyfriend, and she has been a joy to have around. She’s wonderful with kids, other dogs, and even cats. Full of life, playful, and incredibly loving, Pistol thrives on attention and companionship.She is leash trained, potty trained, knows commands (sit, stay, shake, high-five, down, off) and has a great personality. At a little over 60 lbs, she still believes she’s a lap dog and loves to cuddle. Her favorite places to sleep are the bed, the couch, and anywhere she can be close to you. She is also used to her extra large-long cage.Due to our busy schedule, we want to find her a home where she can receive the time, attention, and affection she truly deserves. She will make an amazing companion for a family who can give her the love she gives so freely.

We are heartbroken to have to re-home our sweet girl, Bailey. She was dumped with her brother a few months ago. We rescued her and were hoping to have her part of our pack!She is 7 months old, born about Jan 2026. Sweet, energetic puppy that loves to play and snuggle! She is crate trained and mostly potty trained. Still have a few accidents from time to time but getting better every day. She is about 45lbs. Our older female lab mix (Peanut) has been less than welcoming with Bailey and we cannot realistically keep them separated. They do play together, but Peanut gets too rough and things have escalated several times. The LAST thing we wanted was to have to rehome her, but here we are. We have Peanut and a chiweenie (Squish) so I don’t think other dogs will be an issue. We do not have small children, so I cannot speak to that. Please send me any questions. We just want her to have a safe and loving home.

Daisy is a 6-year old sweetheart. We’re moving & can’t take her. She would love a fenced yard or at least a lanai to sun bathe which she loves to do. She loves a pool or beach. She is calm & patient. Loves to be with her pack & curl up at your feet. She obeys commands very well & loves treats. She likes a peanut butter filled Kong or throwing it up in the air to get out loose treats! She is house & crate trained & is used to her crate at night & while we are away. It is her safe space-her bedroom. She also enjoys her pillow whenever she wants to be out of the crate. She willingly goes back & forth. LOVES am & pm walks. Up to date on all shots & vet visits twice annually. She has an 8-month supply of heart guard/flea & tick. She’s quiet but will alert when strangers approach the door. She is good on a leash but pulls somewhat because she loves to sniff. Can seem aggressive when she sees other dogs but often wants to play. A redirect quickly calms her. Not afraid of thunder or fireworks.

A shy and cautious boy, our handsome Kricket is looking for his forever home with a calm family who won't ask too much of him. Kricket is 8 years old and has been at Satchel's for 4 of those years learning to explore the world again one paw at a time. He may come up to you with worried eyes, but with a bit of encouragement and possibly a tasty treat, he will become your friend after a few meets. Kricket has a Woof Pack leader here at Satchel's and enjoys a day off in the home every week where he gets his weekly bath and enjoys some air conditioned nap time. He does great in the home, staying off furniture and no accidents. Kricket loves the frequent air conditioned van rides with Quentin (his Woof Pack leader), stopping for walks around the shopping center parking lots and Twin Lakes, always engrossed in investigating. Kricket walks great on leash, though if spooked, tends to pull back to home base. He has recently started attending off-site adoption meet and greet events with his Woof Pack leader every week and is doing well meeting new people. He'd prefer dogs not be in his bubble but they are okay at a distance. When he is comfortable, Kricket will show a smirking smile, sneak in a few kisses and a happy wagging tail. He is a very sweet boy underneath that spotty coat of his, and with patience and encouragement will be able to expand his horizons. If you are looking for a friend to share new experiences with, but still like a cozy day in, Kricket would love to meet you!
