Story
Precious had a rough life before Pet Rescue North. She was found in a dumpster. She prefers ladies to men and has a history of biting men on their butts. Men in baseball hats make her nervous. However, after building trust, she is very loving and affectionate. The more love and attention she receives from a volunteer, the more she seeks it. Precious is a senior lady and is available for adoption, foster, or sponsor. When forever fostered, you supply the loving home and we pay for the medical care when taken to our vet. To adopt or foster, you must have a fenced yard, a vet reference, no small children in the home and be a permanent resident of the Jax area.

Story
Dexter was found dumped with a very pregnant female dog who soon had 8 babies. We aren't sure he's the daddy, but he loves the mama. He is a big boy that will need structure and someone that can handle training him because he hasn't learned any manners. He is a total sweetheart that was dealt a bad hand in life, but now has a chance to find a wonderful home where he can be the best dog that he can be. He was wonderful potential and needs to be given a chance. He hasn't shown any aggression towards people, and he's met many recently, but seems to be a little more timid around other dogs. Please don't pass up this wonderful pup because he needs some training to be "civilized" because he is a total love. Dexter will need a high fence that he cannot jump or climb; he’s a master escape artist, but with discipline and a watchful eye, he will be just fine. He will be neutered and fully vetted before adoption. He can be cat tested upon request.SGER FAQs:We are a 501c3 non profit rescue.Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption. Story
Hashbrown was adopted as a little puppy my Husband and I over 5 years ago. He is a sweet loving and very cuddly boy. We now have two toddlers and busy schedules. In addition to this Hashbrown has some needs that are making him a challenge. Specifically, he does not do well in a crate. Salivates and gets anxious. He also has a bad habit of locking himself in rooms by closing the door behind himself. Then he gets anxious and occasionally to the point of wanting to chew himself out.
