Sedona is what happens when someone hits “randomize” on a dog generator and it somehow turns out perfect.We’re told he’s a Collie/Catahoula mix… but if you ask us, he looks like a Miniature Pinscher that got a little ambitious and hit the “grow” button one too many times. Whatever he is, he’s 100% charming.At around a year old, Sedona is that sweet spot of young and playful without the tiny baby chaos. He’s friendly, affectionate, and has this signature move where he gently leans into you like he’s making sure you’re still there. It’s his version of a hug, and honestly… it works.He’s already lived in a home, and it shows. Sedona is housetrained and has great manners. He did wonderful with the children in his previous home and settled into family life like he’d been there forever. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t just exist in your home… he belongs in it.We’re told he does well with other dogs, but as always, a meet and greet with any potential dog siblings is required to make sure everyone starts off on the right paw.Sedona is on the larger side of medium, making him the perfect in-between size—big enough for adventures, small enough to still fit comfortably on your couch (and he will absolutely try).If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, ready-to-go companion who already understands what it means to be part of a family, Sedona might just be your guy.Adoption Fee: $200This includes neuter, vaccinations, microchip (registered for you),negative heartworm test, and flea/tick and heartworm prevention.If Sedona sounds like your kind of dog, head over to EffinghamCountyHumaneSociety.org to submit an application.
