Cher is a 5-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix who carries herself with quiet confidence and a gentle, steady presence. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t need to be the center of attention to shine — her warmth shows through in soft tail wags, soulful eyes, and her calm devotion to the people she trusts.
She enjoys time outdoors, taking in the world at her own pace, and would love a home where she can stretch her legs and then relax beside her favorite humans. Cher’s mature nature makes her a wonderful match for someone looking for a loyal companion without the whirlwind of puppy energy.
With her sweet temperament and grounded spirit, Cher is ready to be someone’s constant — a faithful friend who brings comfort, companionship, and just the right touch of adventure to everyday life. Cher is heartworm positive but with the proper treatment she can live out the rest of her life happy and healthy.
Cher's $250 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports!

The adoption will not be final until the adoption contract is discussed and signed. Transports are arranged for specific dates, typically within 1-3 weeks of approving your application.
