Gilly is 3 years old. Has a bundle of energy and loves to run. Young kids seem to spook her. Howeverwith some training she would be great with kids. Currently she's living with 2 kids. It just takes her time to get familiar with kids. Not recommended around young kids. She enjoys water from the hose in summer and catching tennis balls.

Hello there&#44 Im Gilly <br/><br/>Im a 3andamp;frac12;-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with a big heart and even bigger love to give. I found myself at the shelter after my persons health began to decline and he could no longer care for me. It wasnt anyones fault-but Im ready to start my next chapter with someone new.<br/><br/>I can be a little nervous when we first meet&#44 so I appreciate gentle patience and kind voices. Once I get to know you&#44 though&#44 my playful side comes out-and I could chase a tennis ball all day long! (Full disclosure: Im still working on actually catching it... turns out mouth-eye coordination is a skill).<br/><br/>Im reportedly kennel trained and potty trained&#44 and while Im a very good girl&#44 I am also big and strong. Obedience training would be a wonderful way for us to bond while I polish up my manners-not because Im naughty&#44 but because I sometimes forget just how powerful I am!<br/><br/>Id do best in a home with older kids (8+)&#44 an active lifestyle&#44 and Id really love to be your one and only- sometimes dogs make me nervous&#44 and definitely no cats please. If youre looking for a loyal&#44 energetic companion who will stick by your side and fill your days with love and laughter&#44 I might just be the girl for you.<br/><br/>Come meet me-Im ready to run&#44 play&#44 and build something special with you!
