🐾 June Adoption Special: Margie 🐾 For the entire month of June, Margie and her best friend Sweetie can be adopted TOGETHER with both adoption fees waived. These girls must be adopted together in order for the adoption special to apply. Adopters must have an approved application and meet all standard adoption requirements. Because of their fearful nature, a secure fenced yard will also be required. Margie came to us from a high-kill shelter and is still learning that the world can be safe, kind, and predictable. She may never be the type of dog who immediately rushes up to strangers or confidently takes on every new experience, and that’s okay. What Margie needs most is a patient, understanding home that will celebrate the little victories alongside her. Since arriving with us, Margie has continued making wonderful progress. She has started building confidence in familiar routines and has become more comfortable walking to and from her room. Her foster also reported plenty of rewarding moments, cuddles, and tremendous growth during her time in a home environment. Margie is estimated to be around 5 years old and is believed to be a Black Mouth Cur mix. She has been friendly with other dogs and children and has shown no reaction to cats other than curiosity. Every adoption includes a free transitional training session and follow-up support to help set both girls and their future family up for success.
