Story
Case #48068490. Ricco was born 10/16/16. Ricco was recently surrendered to the shelter due to the health of his owner, he was no longer capable of taking care of him. Ricco is an older and therefore pretty chill guy. He's housetrained and he walks nicely on a leash. He's a big boy but gentle. We have not yet tested him with other dogs so if you have another fur baby at home, bring him by for a meet and greet to see how they do together. We're sure Ricco would like to live out his golden years in a loving home rather than at the shelter. This dog has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and is current with shots according to its age. Adoption fee is $90.00 cash or check only.

Story
I found her at the storage units, she was skin & bones at 19lbs. I have nursed her back to a healthy weight of 30 lbs. I never intended to keep her I have a pittie and I am not in a place that I can handle more than 1 dog, I just couldn't see leaving her to die on the streets. She is very sweet but it took her a couple days to come out from the corner. She stays in the front yard when I'm working in the garden. She gets excited when I grab her leash but then freezes when we get to the end of the driveway. She is getting better We can do a 1/4 mile with minimal stops and she prefers to walk on the cement. She really enjoys laying on my a lap, chewing on her fresh bones and sunbathing. She is food motivated, I have taught her sit & we are working on lay. She is not good with other animals, I'm guessing that's because she was fighting for everything form being on the streets for so long. She doesn't like the vacuum sound so I put her outside & she's fine. She is lovey once she feels safe.
