Story
We got Mac for free from a breeder on Facebook that had too many dogs. Mac was the runt of the litter had multiple signs of abuse and malnourishment. He was all bones when we got him and wouldn’t even eat from his bowl without fear of reprimand. He’s started to come out of his shell and he’s a very sweet dog. He does have definite separation anxiety and stubborn (as our trainer says) and does not warm up well to men. He’s great and very patient with our daughter (1). He’s non-aggressive we’ve heard him bark once in the last 3 months we’ve had him. He’s mostly potty trained but has accidents from time to time. He just needs a home that can continue to offer him care and the resources he needs to train him and most importantly more time that he needs that we unfortunately can’t offer. We also have all of his comfort and care items that we can give to you as well to take care of him.

Story
Meet Lola, the sweetest girl looking for an extra special home! Little Lola spent months living alone in industrial area, surviving on food scraps from security guards and people passing by, and sleeping under a trailer while enduring the brutal summer heat and severe storms, before being rescued by ARNO. Once rescued Lola was terrified and it was clear she had never lived in a home or experienced human kindness in her short life. Despite being initially paralyzed with fear, Lola remained as sweet and gentle as could be. Now safe in a foster home Lola is showing just how resilient and adaptable she is, learning to trust her foster mom and live as a valued family member. She makes great strides every day and it is amazing to watch her personality and confidence grow. Lola is around a year old and a little under 40lbs. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative! She adores other dogs,  loving to run and zoom and roughhouse. She loves the water and her toys (she is a natural at playing fetch!). Her crate is her safe space and she is learning to love car rides and walks. She greets her foster mom with tail wags and kisses, following her around like a shadow, always watching and learning. She is sweet and sassy, playful and gentle and ready to find her place in this world. Lola needs an adopter who is patient and gentle, someone who understands that she needs time to trust and gain confidence, and who is willing to help her understand that she is, and always will be, safe and loved. Lola is full of energy and wicked smart, and is perfect for someone who wants to teach, train and bond with their dog (she would be fantastic for scent work or agility etc). While it may take Lola a little time to trust you, with patience, consistency, and care, she will blossom into the most adventurous, adaptable and fun-loving companion you could ever want, and will bring you years of joy, unconditional love and unwavering loyalty.________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment only after your application is approved. Story
My absolute favorite thing in the world? Playing with my doggy friends! I've got energy for days and love nothing more than a good romp in the dog park. But don't worry - I'm not just all play and no manners. I'm super eager to please and will do anything to make my human happy. Sit? Stay? Give a high-five? Just watch me work my magic!Speaking of magic, let me tell you about my ultimate superpower: the art of splooting. That's right - I'm the undisputed Queen of Sploots! When I find a patch of soft grass, I'll stretch out, belly down, legs splayed in all directions, looking like the most adorable (and ridiculous) pup you've ever seen. Sunbathing? More like grass-bathing, and I am HERE FOR IT!I'm sweet as can be, with a goofy personality that'll keep you laughing. My Black Mouth Cur mix means I'm loyal, energetic, and always ready for an adventure. Whether we're going for a walk, playing fetch, or just cuddling on the couch, I'll be your most devoted friend.I am great with other dogs and love children too!Are you ready for a silly, loving, grass-rolling companion who will bring endless smiles to your life? Look no further! Bubbles is ready to sploot her way into your heart!
