She loves to run and play in the backyard with her foster brother until she is happily worn out, and she is just as delighted to curl up beside her favorite people for long, peaceful naps. She is an intelligent and observant pup who likes to stay close, so it is nearly impossible to sneak out of a room without her trotting right behind you. She is not a frequent barker, but she will confidently let you know when someone is approaching the home.Baby Love is putting in a tremendous effort with her house training and continues to show steady improvement. She is also learning her leash and kennel skills and picks up new routines quickly thanks to her clever and eager-to-please personality.As a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, Baby Love is a naturally athletic and energetic dog who thrives when she has plenty of daily activity. She enjoys social time with other dogs and benefits greatly from opportunities to run, play, and burn off energy. A yard would make her very happy, although regular outings to the dog park can provide the exercise she loves.If you are searching for a loving, intelligent, and family-friendly companion, Baby Love may be the perfect addition to your home.Baby Love is currently in foster care outside of the shelter. Meet Delilah! She is a Rhodesian ridgebac/boxer mix DOB 8/2015. She is heartworm positive(but staying on heartworm prevention will cause the worms to die off naturally) spayed and up to date on shots. Delilah is good with other dogs and older kids. She has had a rough start in life. She was adopted from the shelter and returned the first time because the person who adopted her was “allergic” to dogs. She was adopted again and returned a second time because the human was moving and didn’t want to take her. The third time she was adopted, she was returned because her third owner passed away. Delilah needs somewhere to call home!
