Story
URGENT: Cash Needs a Safe Haven by May 15th   Cash is a beautiful 6-year-old, 55-pound Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who has spent his entire life as a deeply loved family companion. Now, through no fault of his own, he is facing a critical deadline to find a new home—or even a foster—by May 15th.   Cash has always had a sensitive, gentle nature. While he has thrived in a calm and predictable home, recent changes have been overwhelming for him. The addition of a baby who is now a busy, walking toddler has brought constant movement, noise, and unpredictability into his world. For a dog who depends on peace and routine to feel secure, it has simply become too much. Cash isn’t acting out—he’s anxious and no longer feels that sense of safety in the place he once called home.   Despite this, Cash is an incredibly loving dog. He is a true snuggler and a couch companion who finds joy in being close to his people. He loves human connection and does well playing with other dogs, making him an easy and rewarding addition to the right home. What he needs now is a quieter environment, ideally with older children or adults, where he can relax, rebuild his confidence, and feel at peace again.   His family loves him deeply, and this decision is heartbreaking, but they know it is what’s best for him. They want Cash to have the chance to truly thrive in a home that fits his needs.   Even a foster home would be a lifesaving solution while a permanent home is found.   Time is critical. Cash must have a place to go by May 15th. There are no other options.   If you can help give Cash the calm, safe space he so desperately needs, please reach out right away at ccrnewengland@gmail.com or text 615-661-5333.   Please share—his second chance could be just one person away. ❤️   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 26, 2026, 11:42 am

Story
Meet Buddy! This big, lovable guy is around 3 years old and has a heart to match his size. Buddy is currently thriving in foster care at Tide Pool Pet Services, where he has been learning all kinds of great skills and showing everyone just how special he is. He has been successfully crate trained, is building wonderful manners, and has proven to be an easy and enjoyable companion to have around. Buddy is charming, sweet, and a total social butterfly, truly everybody’s best friend, with a waggy tail and a bubbly personality that brings a happy energy wherever he goes. He is dog neutral and people neutral, able to coexist calmly while still enjoying being part of the action, whether that is time spent outdoors, exploring, or simply relaxing with his people. Buddy is happiest when he can be near his humans and included in the day to day, and he has done especially well with the structure and routine he has been building in foster care. He will do best with an adopter who is excited to continue that routine and support his ongoing training so he can keep feeling his best. To help set him up for success, his foster team is offering one month of one-on-one training support for his adopter and will remain a resource along the way. If you are looking for a big, affectionate, well mannered companion and are ready to continue helping him thrive, Buddy may be your perfect match. Story
Axel, our wonderful 3 1/2-year-old Mastiff/Ridgeback mix, who is currently looking for a loving new home. Axel’s was found as a puppy battling Pneumonia and Parvo. After a month of intensive care, our family stepped in as Axel’s foster, and he quickly fit in with our four other dogs. Axel has thrived in our home and gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats. He weighs around 85 pounds and is fully up to date on all his required vet appointments. His recent annual physical went smoothly, with his blood work showing no issues and confirming he’s in great health. In terms of temperament, Axel is truly the perfect family dog. He is house trained, leash trained, and responds reliably to all basic commands like sit, stay, come, and lay down. Walks with Axel are always a pleasure—he’s easy to handle on a leash and loves being out and about. He’s also incredibly affectionate and loves attention. Our family is moving and we need to pare down the size of our pack and need find him a home
