Meet Lola! At 11 years old, Lola proves that age is just a number. This sweet senior still has plenty of pep in her step and loves making the most of every day. Whether she's exploring a trail, sniffing every interesting scent she can find, or carrying around one of her favorite squeaky toys, Lola enjoys staying active and curious. While she loves her adventures, Lola has an affectionate side that's impossible to resist. She's known for giving plenty of kisses, soaking up attention from her favorite people, and happily settling in for cuddles after she's had a chance to stretch her legs. Volunteers describe her as sweet, gentle, and easy to spend time with, making her a wonderful companion both out on walks and relaxing at home. Lola enjoys taking her time to explore on walks and likes choosing her own little adventures along the way. She can get excited when she's on the move, but she's easy to handle and loves spending time with her people. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who still has plenty of energy for fun but also appreciates the quieter moments, Lola is ready to fill that role. Story
Gigi is the sweetest pup! We adopted Gigi in May 2026 from our local shelter - she's a cur (and maybe hound mix?) originally from Louisiana. She's around 2 1/2 years old and weighs about 40lbs. She was heartworm positive when we adopted her, but it is not a severe case and is being managed with a monthly preventative.Gigi is a smart, sweet, curious and loving dog. She's house trained, LOVES car rides, and has never shown aggression. However, she does have a lot of general fear and anxiety as well as strong storm anxiety. She is not destructive during storms, but she paces and pants and tries to hide. We’ve been working on behavior modification and started her on a daily SSRI.We feel confident that Gigi would thrive in a home environment where she can settle in and build confidence at her own pace, possibly with another dog who could be a calming presence. We love Gigi so much and we really want to find a good home for her - she's the best girl and she deserves it!
